Howard To Norwich?

1 million and he's gone. I'd say something like "I'd drive him there myself" but:

1. I can't drive (legally)

2. I'd still need a HGV license.

:crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: Oh, please, please let this be true. I'd laugh my ickle socks off.

Oh, the fun I would have taking the piss outta the Naaarwich supporters down my local.

"Howard...? You signed Heffalump Howard??!!!" *splutters* *giggles* *doubles up in abject hilarity* *knocks drink over* *gets kicked out of thoroughly nice boozer*

Naarwich have money, ofer them a deal, they can have Howard, DJ & Fatty and CLEMENCE for 3 million, but I'd take 2 million.

You've raised me a Clemence, I'll raise you an Oakley, Hayles, Spotty Botty, Henderson, Logan & Weslowski for 3 million.

There's probably another 4 or 5 that we can throw in for free if they haggle.

I'm serious as well.

You don't frequent the Queen Charlotte then? :)

I'm still laughing at them due to Howard outpacing their defence last season :crylaugh:

The Queen Charlotte's not so bad...

I couldn't agree more with that.

Hellings is playing against Quorn tonight.

If Weso stays fit, he'll be a big asset this season.

Is that the pub on Dereham Rd - between Bowthorpe Rd and Waterworks Rd?

If it is then, no, I don't 'frequent' it on a regular basis. Have been in there a couple of times though.

Can't say it's my 'local'! :P

cross the ball regularly and play to feet and howard can be useful.

holloways punting tactics turned what looked to be a decent signing early on into one who looked completely disillusioned.

howard didnt help himself as a professional as when the chips were down he didnt look interested but i dont think it was just lack of form and confidence. lack of brains and tactics from the manager meant howard like every other 'target man' we;ve had in recent years is labelled as an oaf because that is the way the team plays where they are concerned

with high punts into them with their backs to goal where they are expected to control under pressure from a big centre half, bring down to their feet(rather than have the ball simply played to feet), turn and lay the ball off.

i dont think howard is the best player but he certainly could have been utilised better had it not been for clueless tactics and sunday league styles of play. no wonder howard looked disillusioned and like he wanted a move before he had even settled.

i'dlike to see him stay and play in a settled team and i think he will score some goals but now we have the mighty norwich circling!!!

The sun:

Norwich boss Glenn Roeder has targeted Leicester striker Steve Howard and is planning a £1.25million bid

Its very good money for him. Almost making our money back.

If he goes, you could see someone like pericard come in.

£1.25m Yes Please

:D

we've made some money so far and spent well. Surely Pearson's allowed one silly splurge on a player, evryone else got one plenty of Milan.

I wish the papers would stop teasing us with news like this. They did it a few months back with N'Gotty, DJ, Howard, Clemence and Oakley and none of the fookers have gone yet.

Have to agree.

As much as i'd like him to go, its more a case of seeing it is believing it.

Also after Big Renial stepped up to the plate last night (admittingly against Quorn), he seems like the long term solution to everyone's need for a "big/target man"

there may be more in this though as it was in the Norwixh local paper before being in the sun.

Let Howard go he is far to slow and lumbering.

When you saw Big Renail shift last night he is the one to bring on.

Norwich are set to sign a striker today, could it be Howard?

It's just a guess, although Norwich are actually signing a striker today.
