Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Don't reckon this is the last signing today either. Do you know something Daggers?
FleckneyFox Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Don't reckon this is the last signing today either. Why, Do you know something?
billyfox1 Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 sounds good. i think one or two more defenders and we'll be about there. how come he will wear No 25 but is wearing a No 4 shirt. Is gilbert going back to arse-anal already?

DanTheFox07 Posted 25 July 2008 Author Posted 25 July 2008 Don't reckon this is the last signing today either. What makes u say that then?
Alexikokopops Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Pleased, big time. Remember him turning out for Lincoln for about five minutes just before Liverpool nabbed him.
Cat Burger Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 I reckon he must've signed yesterday if he's in his training gear, that would've been taken early doors. If anything happens today it must be going on right now or it would've been a double 'special', as they call it? Again, does anyone know why it says he's winged in?
Bryn Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 I dunno if Daggers has inside knowledge or not but I'm inclined to agree, we seem to do our deals in bulk. Hopefully a left back a striker and maybe a keeper yet to come.
Lovejoy Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Seen him play before, this kid is very useful. Good signing.
MikeyT Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Don't reckon this is the last signing today either. Oooh im intrigued!
Daggers Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Do you know something Daggers? Mercury article this morning said about the likelihood of two more signings before the game tomorrow - and this was one so I'm expecting a centre-forward who can bury opportunities next

JoeRedLabo Kopite Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 4,073 he is a solid player and although there are doubts about his liverpool future at the highest level he should be a good addition to any league 1 team and can handle the phisical nature. Has this been confirmed? Guess this is good news
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Mercury article this morning said about the likelihood of two more signings before the game tomorrow - and this was one so I'm expecting a centre-forward who can bury opportunities next Hopefully. It will probably be the trialist though. Not saying he was bad, I'd just rather we drafted in a more experienced striker, proven in England.
FleckneyFox Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Cant see us getting a left back now, we have loads of defenders. Mattock if he stays is there. Also Chambers, Gilbert and Tunchev can play there. I expect a Striker and i reckon that will be it.
Daggers Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Oh yes please, new keeper would be lovely! I really don't think that is on the cards - we've a reasonable Div.III keeper who has won monthly awards in the Championship and an average Div.III one as a back-up. I can't see who we are going to bring here who'd be better and stay for the duration of his contract without being nabbed by someone higher up. I'd rather have a guarantee of goals myself.
lcfcrinaldi Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Well it was amazingly obviouse that we need a half decent defender, whats going on with kisnorbo by the way? has he left because ive not heard anything about him at all since the end of the season, Hobbs and Kisnorbo what a pairing! Although if Kisnorbo has dissapered off the face of the earth Hobbs and Tunchev will be well more than capable.
Shrenchel Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 What a cracking signing. Suprised he's come here. Pretty sure he could have taken his pick of a few championship clubs.
Fox in a Box Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Prefer N'gotty he has european experience with AC Milan
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Prefer N'gotty he has european experience with AC Milan He also requires a zimmerframe in order to navigate himself around. And his AC Milan days were about 10 years ago. He clearly couldn't cut it there now.
sdb Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 think we're sorted now in midfield and defence (if Mattock stays). Maybe a striker if we ship someone, and a Keeper if there's anyone better than Hendo we can get. Squads taking shape nicely but i've thought that a fair bit over recent seasons which is embarassing to admit.

Long term injury
