Daggers Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 He'll be valuable whatever but I just think his strengths are more suited to the old inside-left position than as an out-and-out winger. As you know, we agree on this...but my concern is that very few managers would play a formation like that for him - especially while we don't have an in-form player to forge a lone furrow up front or a pair of good attacking full-backs covering the flanks.
ASH17LCFC Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Ask my mate yesterday about him ... Josh Low but worst he replied.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Ask my mate yesterday about him ... Josh Low but worst he replied. Your friend is seriously, seriously wrong.

lildave3 Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Your friend is seriously, seriously wrong. The guys friends with Ash17lcfc, that tells you all you need to know about his judgment of character.

clazkel Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Just my opinion but I thought Porter was excellent against Quorn. His touching and passing were both exquisite, as was some of his dribbling. Yeah he was excellent against Quorn and when he came on against Hinkley
Houdini Logic Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Always has his shorts on the wrong way round. Hey Look, Dyer has special shorts on - the badge is on the back! Wait a minute....

Wat'choo talking 'bout defence? We're playing 2-3-5. 2-3-5!

TrickyTrev Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 He has the no-neck qualities of Andy Impey. I.E his head seems unusually close to his torsoe.
teblin Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 He did score plenty of goals in League Two.I'd call that end product. I did say "then". that was a few years ago.
MC Prussian Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Ask my mate yesterday about him ... Josh Low but worst he replied. Your mate has probably never witnessed the antics of [Ankle]...
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 I have the same opionon on Llody Dyer as I did when he signed, and thats that he is not a paticularly good player at this level and we could of got, or maybe even already have better players.
The People's Hero Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 It's interesting though that Morcheeba speculate that Rome wasn't built in a day. And with a city of that size and style, I'm not surprised! It's a city of real style, substance and rip off prices for the would-be tourist. Lloyd Dyer - I'd rather have Bruce, Keiron and a few of the others I've forgotten who probably have their roots in the 'dying' trade (that is the dying/dyeing(?) of materials and not in becoming deceased frequently and with great panache- for money).

The People's Hero Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 My missus's surname is Dyer. Fact. Not long till it'll be Pablo eh? nudge nudge wink wink. And there's be lots of little Mablos running around arguing about which obscure Columbian third division right back has the best long throw. Your real name is Manwell Pablo, right?
