i've noticed every shit/average player we've been linked with, we havent signed. Which obviously is good news :). Were apparantly signing 2 more players, Hopefully a goalkeeper and unsure of the other one.

Good, going back to former players is a sign of desperation. Onwards and Upwards!

Ain't bothered and I don't think Pearson will be either, this is another "Mad Mandy" deal and we don't need him, yeah he may score a handful of goals but the chances are with the choppers in league 1 and the crap pitches he would have been side lined for most of the season!

Someone posted a link from an American site saying he's a Toronto player (or as good as).

Oh right, fair enough. I do think that we need to get one more striker in, just really not sure who would be good for us though atm.

Toronto FC adds Scottish striker Dickov.

BAH! I hate the way the press in the US and Australia (and probably elsewhere) talk about clubs as an IT not a THEY. They add, not it adds. Fundamental failure to understand the club concept. It is a group of people, not a thing. Bastard%s

I wouldn't mind having Dickov back here, he scored vital goals for Blackpool last season which shows he still has scoring in him, and they were the typical Dickov type goals aswell, troubling defenders and latching onto anything loose, we haven't really got a striker who could do that so yeh would be nice to have him back.

Dickov scored 6 from 11 last season for Blackpool. He peaked when we had him around 2003 or 2004, but I still think he'll have what it takes and can see him getting 15 goals per season at this level, which is what Leicester badly need. Not like Fryatt whom I think won't get into double figures.

ive pondered long and hard about whether it would be good to get dickov back or not, im actually going to say yes it would be good, all ive ever wanted at city is for each and every player to show tha they care and as long as they try their hardest (which dickov always did and still does) i dont care how old he is etc and im sure people will agree to that. all we want is for them to show they care! if they dont score or whatever,ok bad day at the office as long as they keep working and working and working!

Have to differ with you there. A Club is singular. There's just one club. The Club is the institution that the fans support. As annoying as the automated announcements telling me that First Capital Connect ARE sorry for the delay. Firstly, I don't suspect they are sorry, secondly, it's is, not are.....

And who said all men are somewhere on the autistic spectrum

Tries his absolute best EVERY time he pulls on the shirt for a club and its fans. I hope he comes back so much, I really think he could be the catalyst we need to get back.

Come one Paul, save us and bring the good times to the walkers again. They went when you did...

DICKOV, THERES ONLY ONE DICKOV! DICKOV!

well if the links correct,he will be earning £3205.12p per week and huckerby the same
Wonder how much Milan's going to be paying him?

i'd say £3205.13p per week

Wherever he goes I'd expect it'll be a 2 year contract. That seems to be a very high in the criteria for footballers when they get around 32+

I'd imagine we will offer more money than Blackpool, I can't see him moving to Canada

Just been on the local ITV news that Dickov should be making his decision by tomorrow morning, so hopefully we'll all know something by then!
