billyfox1 Posted 23 July 2008 Posted 23 July 2008 i'm still not convinced. seen this report in a couple of places now but they all just quote what Grayson has said. This seems to only be Blackpools opinion and they said last week that they had already signed him but they hadn't.
Noel Edmonds Posted 23 July 2008 Posted 23 July 2008 We should be buying for the future anyway. Le Fondre and Fred Sears on loan please.
Stevosevic Posted 23 July 2008 Posted 23 July 2008 We should be buying for the future anyway. Le Fondre and Fred Sears on loan please. He'll be in and amongst the West Ham team. Why would they send him here? Why would he want to come here, when he could go to Championship clubs, if he was available to loan?

Why would he want to come here, when he could go to Championship clubs, if he was available to loan? Could be made part of a deal that takes Mattock to them?? That's if the rumours are true about Mattock...

FilboFox Posted 23 July 2008 Posted 23 July 2008 To be honest, I'm liking the way that Grayson is looking at buying players at the moment, he's going for young and determined players over the old "experienced" ones... yes, there are the odd few who are older like Dickov he's looking at but lets face it, Dickov is worth about 10 times his weight in gold compared to Howard, Hayles and some of the other dross that Holloway brought here!

Corky Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Doesnt matter if were a massive club...were in league one at the end of the day We have got the best supporters in the land though.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 For Gods sake when is this topic going to be put to bed anybody would think we were after Drogba instead of another old man.
MC Prussian Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Are they still at it? These talks start to resemble a G7 meeting.

Simi Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Dickov says No.BBC Sport I wont close it yet, as it's not confirmed. There is no quote in that article though...
Tommy G Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Former Leicester City striker Paul Dickov has turned down the chance of a return to The Walkers Stadium and is set to move to the Major Soccer League. Dickov is currently in Canada for talks about a switch to Toronto FC who play in the US league. The 35-year-old Scot spent part of last season on loan at Blackpool, who were also interested in signing him. Dickov, who played for the Foxes for two years between 2002 and 2004 was released by Manchester City in July. From BBC
Moreton Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 on bbc ow well Oh well, lets move on and get on with our lives.. Link
bigneville Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Can't say I'm really that bothered 100% agree. We've been scoring goals for fun in pre-season. Looks like our strikers may actually step up the plate this season. With improved service from midfield this season, the need for Dickov just isnt there.
