Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 So Norwich, Charlton or Southampton arn't going to piss on the league aswell?4 teams cannot all win the league and then there is 2 of Mk Dons, S****horpe and Millwall in the league still plus other good teams. Southampton and Charlton are in the shit. Norwich - maybe - providing they don't lose their best players, but their squad looks far from good if you take out the players likely to be sold. MK Dons don't have a chance at doing it, neither do Scunny and neither do Millwall. A glance at Millwall's Goals For / Goals Against shows that they've hardly dominated teams and aren't exactly attacking.
Guest Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 A mere couple of hours after getting beaten by Millwall, here's WACCOE's analysis of 'who's going to stop us' next year Norwich - About 15 players out fo contract or loanees - may struggle to adapt?Charlton - similar to Norwich perhaps - will lose some of their top players for sure Saints - minus 10 pts is a huge hinderence- cant see them challeneging Wycombe - too small a club- Taylor done very well, but faltered 2nd half of last season - Watch out for John Akinde if they sign him from Brizzle City Exeter - will do a Hereford, straight back down Brentford - good manager in Andy Scott, bit of a fortress at home, may be p-off contenders MK Dons - Gunna be there or thereabouts Scunny - If the dont go up, Hooper is surely naield on to leave. Without him they are f*** all IMO Tranmere - good side, good manager, always manage to come up short, possible p-off again Southend - Tilson had many a chance, again goos side, top half and poss poff contendes Udderesfield- released a few, have a new chairman willing to back that geordie c***, think they will go close myself Oldham - new manager in penney, lost Hughes and Gregan, two big players who prob wont be repleced, cant see Taylor staying tnext yr. Bristol Rovers - w/o Lambert they will be mid to bottom again Colchester - must do better next yr, will be used to the new ground now, p-off conternders Walsall - cant amount to much IMO Orient - see Walsall Swindon - shipped out over 1 2players, Cox will leave. bottom half Brighton - like their manager Slade, very good record, with the new stadium coming along, theink they may suprise a few Yeovil - see walsall and orient Stockport - go down, no cash Hartlepool - cant see them doing out at all Carlisle- prob get rid of Abbott, must surely do better han this season however, Mid table for me. Gillingham or Shrewsbury, would fancy Shreswbury to do better than Gills, cos i hate that c*** Scally! Review Think Saints will struggle, our bigegst threast will be MK Dons and Huddersfield, and obv Charlton/Norwcih if they dont lose to many players. Norwich have sold 18k ST already
Guest Bilo Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Just got back in from a very busy day to hear this news. Absolutely hilarious to be honest, for all their big club bluster the fact is that Leeds have been nothing more than an average League One side for the best part of the season and have paid the price. It won't be any easier next season for them either with some big teams coming down from the Championship, and teams already in League One likely to make a good stab of it. Still, at least they'll get to visit St. James' Park next season.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 A mere couple of hours after getting beaten by Millwall, here's WACCOE's analysis of 'who's going to stop us' next year I hate being the killjoy, but I honestly think that that's nearly a reasonable assessment. Leeds are in a similar situation to Norwich though. It's all about keeping hold of players.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 It wasn't meant to be funny, more a kind of 'wait and see what yours and other squads look like next season before making a prediction' Yeah. From the looks of Beckford recently he's convinced his future lies elsewhere anyway, and I'd be surprised if Delph (no matter how over rated I think he is) stays there for another season.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 The Donny fan on WACCOE is a hero! If they're all like that, could Doncaster be next season's Cheltenham? :w00t:
General Smuts Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Ha.Haha. Hahaha. Hahahaha. Hahahahaha. Hahahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. lol lol Ha. This.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 I thought they'd be the leading force this year and they would overshadow us (TBH I didn't expect us to even be comfortable 2nd, If i'm being honest I though we might settle for playoffs) but how wrong could I have been, put it this way I don't think many expect Leeds to be as poor as they have been this season. I predicted them in the top 2 anyway, probably 1st.I know it's different they have Simon Grayson who has done a good job and probably will get the effort out of them but still, they might fail again next season - Hopefully. I'd add that there's still lots of 'ifs & buts' and like a few have already said, if they can keep hold of their squad, they may have a chance. I hope the vultures are circling to snap up their talent. I am certain Grayson can do a job there though. I do feel a little for the very few genuine fans they have, but then I come back down with one almighty bump after reading the ****** posts on WACCOE. Hope you rot.

surrifox Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 with Charlton, Norwich and S'ampton plus two of scunny, franchise and Millwall they won't find it a walk in the park next year either
Matt Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 From WACCOE; Millwall - Cheating C**nt'sThis may have been already posted but to be honest I can't be arsed trawling through all the threads about last night. Firstly, this isn't Sour Grapes, we got beaten over two legs and I'll eventually come to terms with it - I can't fault the Team's overall record since Larry took charge. BUT! - Last night Millwall were a shower of cheating, timewasting bastards who demonstrated gamesmanship at almost every level. From their Goalkeepers constant attempts to waste time at every opportunity (Including hitting the deck like he'd been shot when that 10p hit his "Shoulder) and although Halsey warned him several times he did f*** all to punish him, the professional fouls committed by Millwall Players (some of whom were booked early) throughout the game, the constant holding and shirt pulling of our players (other than the Penalty given), and even the Millwall Players on the bench refusing to give the ball to Douglas in the latter stages of the game when we had won a throw in. Halsey didn't control the game at all in this respect and allowed Millwall's cynical tactics to disrupt the flow and tempo of our play, so we never really gained any momentum. By my calculations we should have had at least double the extra time we had in both halves, on stoppages for injuries alone. If we had been beaten by a Team who outplayed us and deserved their day at Wembley I would find it easier to accept (although I'd still f***ing hate Millwall) but I can't help feeling they cheated their way to the final. Thoughts? BW Fook me, Sour grapes or what? The referee gave 5 minutes in the first half, 6 in the second of added time, Plenty of Millwall players got booked (I think), Leeds got a penalty... His avatar suits him - Maybe the can make a chant that they won the playoffs or got promoted, or won the league or something afterall thing quite clearly don't have to be really for Leeds fans to claim and and chant about something do they - Hence WACCOE...
Granno Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 So many words to describe them - Delusional, Hypocrites, Tossers!
Guest Bilo Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Delph never recovered did he...All that lint he must have swallowed from the inside of Andy King's pocket has really ruined his game. Delph is a £5 million rated future megastar don't ya know?
Matt Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 What a video. I still prefer this one and oh what a coincidence against Leeds aswell!
Dezzee Rascal Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Hence WACCOE... We Are Challenging Colchester Orient and Exeter I don't think he realises that it's that kind of gamesmanship under Revie which is partly responsible for their shitty reputation
StanSP Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Love it. Leeds will have to settle for play-offs again next season I think. Norwich to go up, and probably Scunny or Dons to get 2nd. But, I couldn't cara about League One to be honest. It's all about the Championship now.

What a moment. Still gives me goosebumps. STEEEEEEEVE
Alexikokopops Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Bloody hell, some people really are obsessed with Leeds.
Tommeh Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 More pleased Millwall won than Leeds lost. The obsession on here is incredibly over the top.
C-man Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 What a sight - seeing everybody in Elland Road standing for 90 minutes - insane!
