Fosse Boy Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 The quadruple's off then... Treble's still on though...
The Stig Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 As Daggers suggested the Nigeometer is on the up. LCFC's spirit is on the up. Our passion and commitment is seemingly the best for a long time. The future is bright.
brookfox Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Oh well, fook it! We played our part, weren't embarrassed away at a club 2 leagues above us and haven't knackered ourselves out for the weekend with 120 mins of football. Good effort lads!
brendan Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 unlucky one lot of fixtures out the way though don't forget we got the JPT to be thinkin of
fox123 Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Didnt expect anything diferent to be honest, lets focus on competitions we have a realistic chance of winning, JPT and the League!
MC Prussian Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Another crap evening on the radio. Sounded so like last season - and just not what I wanted to hear... We're now officially jinxed. No matter what manager you bring in, no matter what players we have, nothing seems to work... ... in the Cup Competitions. Rebuild Filbo, I say!
The Stig Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 For the first time in a long time I am proud to be a Leicester fan.
Unabomber Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Great performance by the sounds of it, really unlucky but if we can put performances like that in our league matches they will only go one way.
lifted*fox Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 fantastic effort shown in this game... if they play like that in the league, week in, week out, we'll do good this year. such a shame they couldn't come away with a win for the effort. sounds like we walked all over fulham for most of the match!
Daggers Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 What a radio commentary though - what a club. I've got a tub of 8% Belgian beer so I'm a bit anaesthetised but we just cancelled out the two league difference and the team who beat Arsenal on Saturday. Games like this fill me with hope for promotion.
SemperEadem Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 The lads did us proud ! How good where our fans tonight !
SystonFox Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 sounded amazing game. wish i was there again and same thing happens like last times 4-3 its great we gave another prem team another good game. hope the lads confidence doesnt get dented too much and we can take it to cheltenham and play like that again. the carling cup shouldnt mean anything to our lads.
Guest shearfox Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Brilliant performance from the lads, while it hurts to concede late goals at least we never tried to stick 10 men behind the ball and defend the lead, we were always looking for a third.
Bryn Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Bit of pride for us. At the end of the day from what I can remember the lower league sides that do well in the Cup often seem to do badly in the League. Ultimately, we don't want that.
lavrentis Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 For the first time in a long time I am proud to be a Leicester fan. Seconded

Daggers Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 ...oh, and let's not forget his first for the club since returning
davieG Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Sorry to get under your feet DavieG. No problem I was going to delete mine because your title was better but someone merged them first.
