Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 That's because we know the extent of your french When you went to see PSG, how much did it cost overall? Tickets, travel, accomodation (if you stayed) etc. Seriously considering going to France to watch a match now. Thanks.
CosbehFox Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 How about Znicz Pruzkow (Bobby Lewandowski's old club) of the Polish First Division? Here's the away end when Slask Wroclaw visited.
Katy Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 That's because we know the extent of your french Pah, don't listen to Fez, he had to find something to diss me with! Twas me and Fez. It came to about £200 all in, depends on where you stay but our location was excellent. The tickets were 25 euros each
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 C_F - Have you been to Marseille? Is it recommended?
CosbehFox Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 C_F - Have you been to Marseille? Is it recommended? No but I bloody wish had and I will do. However, my knees go weak for Saint Etienne as well but that's a romantic thing.

The tickets were 25 euros each 1 - shush you 2 - give me time - some of us have loyalties to our own club first. Hartlepool away!! When I was looking earlier, Eurostar was under 50 quid. That was travelling on a sat morning and back on the monday at the end of may. Can't argue with that kind of price really!

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Marseille / Rennes on the 30th of May is tempting me.
Katy Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Thanks. How long did you stay for? I like St.Etienne as well. Payet. Went on the Tuesday and came back on the Friday.
Finnegan Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Saw no evidence of that the two times I've seen them. That's because we know the extent of your french

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Went on the Tuesday and came back on the Friday. At that price?! That's really good. Definately considering it now.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 At that price?!That's really good. Definately considering it now. Have PMed you mate. Looks like the next game could be a huge FT outing at this rate.
Katy Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 and i have to wear carrier bags on my feet due to the holes in my work boots! The use of my Student loan does not in any way shape or form affect your boots dear.
syston_fox Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Have PMed you mate. Looks like the next game could be a huge FT outing at this rate. Would you be tempted by the Monaco game at the end of may? Think Joe. mentioned he was interested in a game a few months ago as well.
stez Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 The use of my Student loan does not in any way shape or form affect your boots dear. apart from my wages filling the 200 notes short fall in the budget
Cobbo Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 And my £100 worth of wages filling A N other short fall. I've not eaten all week.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Would you be tempted by the Monaco game at the end of may?Think Joe. mentioned he was interested in a game a few months ago as well. Certainly would. That rings a bell about Joe too. I'll bear it in mind.
Darkzzz_ Posted 26 February 2009 Author Posted 26 February 2009 I really think this thread should be knighted with a sticky.
lildave3 Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 I really think this thread should be knighted with a sticky. I can't believe the Transfer Window thread is still there
maddog Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Cant find the UEFA cup thread but Paul Dickov is in the ITV studio for the Man City game. Clearly his football days are over, and his punditry has begun
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 March 2009 Author Posted 1 March 2009 Enjoyed my fix of Serie A today, good game between Sampdoria and Milan. Sure Ric Flair will be happy they won the game 2-1 with Cassano getting on the score sheet. Barca will slip up tonight at Atletico I feel.
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 March 2009 Author Posted 1 March 2009 Henry!! Barca 1-0 up. Great goal. (18:35) - Messi, simply the best player in the world. After a couple of poor games, welcome back Leo. Atletico left for dead. (18:36) - Forlan what a bloody goal, what a game. 3 world class goals here. This league is getting better and better. No league excites me more. (19:18) - The second half has started slow, Eto'o should have scored and now Barca have been punished, defensive error has let the talented Kun Aguero through to make it 2-2 (19:35) - End to end all game. Forlan missed a sitter and then Barca go up the other end and score with Henry getting his second goal. 3-2. Great game. (19:40) - Penalty shout for Atletico, the assistant over ruled the ref who let the play go on. He then brought the play back and gave the penalty. No peno in my opinion. Forlan steps up and scores. 3-3. Bloody hell. This has been something. (19:51) - WHAT A BLOODY GAME!! 4-3 Atletico winner, Kun Aguero's second. Barca are throwing away this lead at the top. Atletico have been superb, it has been end to end but I think this now will allow Real to win the league. Barca will get tanked at the Bernabéu on current form. Final score 4-3 Atletico, All I can say is how good they were, Barca were by no means poor but they are showing cracks and I now think Real will go on to win La Liga. I haven't seen a better game than that for a long while. La Liga is number 1.
lildave3 Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Barca lose? Yeah baby! Fenerbahce beat top of the league Sivasspor 4-2 All it took for last year's UEFA Champions League quarter-finalist Fenerbahce to overcome last week's weak performance was one dominating victory. Tonight Turkey witnessed a fantastic victory as the canaries beat Sivasspor, the leader of the league, with a 4-2-victory in Istanbul. Semih Sentürk, Diego Lugano and Ugur Boral were the heroes of the night, as the champions made an impressive return to their Turkish League campaign.
