I didn't see the message come up in the inbox and waited for it to come up and missed the deadline. Got 4 good players who might not be able to play for 6 months because I've been a moron. I'm looking on FM.M, I gave them squad numbers but it's still saying they're inelegble.

I never see the opposition team celebrating as as soon as they score I go straight to the tactics menu and start changing things round... mostly in the hope that it might change things to our favour... funnily enough, this season it has been doing so and I'm doing really well with Leicester in the Championship! And if I don't change the tactics, I'm usually so ****ed off about having let a goal in that I'm having a rant to myself and not looking at the computer.

Portugal and Russia... not a chance... good luck to you but I can't see either Wales getting past them... I personally have a strong link to Belgium having lived there for 15 years and still living there over summers when Uni is out so would want them to do well but as it's your game, you hopefully will beat them... but the other two... hmm...

Best thing you can do in that situation would probably be to send them out on loan and bring them back after 6 months as then they'll be getting games, you won't have to pay the wages, they may improve over that time and they won't get miserable at not playing... on the other hand, if they are big big players, it could upset them being sent out on loan... so it's up to you.

Drew with Germany and Russia in the WC so anything can happen. We'll see. Gonna pick up a second NG with my mate - El Clasico. I'm Barca and am looking for a world class keeper. I'm used to being lower level teams so haven't really bothered with the world class players. Am i right in thinking my best bets are still Lloris, Mandanda, Adler, Akinfeev, Kameni, Neuer? Any better ideas?

Leo Franco a good and cheap alternative. De Sanctis is free after a season and very solid. One of my favourites, Danut Coman is free from the start, but has a ban until December 1. Still, he's very good and won't cost much in wages. Silviu Lung Jr is an extremely cheap future star. In my current multiplayer game, Renan is doing great for my Valencia team. And obviously Yohann Pelé... Hope that's enough suggestions
