At the minute, I am creating chances and not taking them and it's annoying.

Right, I played West Brom at home and then Norwich away and should of taken 6 points in both games, instead I took 2.

I am not lying but all my team, apart from Cech, could have scored at Carrow Road.

I had 15 shots, Norwich had 1.

But then I saw a light and beat Villa at home, 3-1, Cassano, Owen and Aguero.

However, got hammered by Juventus in Turin 4-0 in the Champions League :@

Going to go on it now though...

Because as I am doing so poor I want a change in formation and seeing as A.C. Milan play this formation on my game, Kaka (playing as an AM with the other being Ronaldinho) always ends up being the top goalscorer. Last season he played 23 and scored 21 with 6 assists and this season (only in November) he already has played 7, scored 7 with 2 assists.

Does anyone play this? If so is it good, does it work? If not, it doesn't matter.

I have a similar formation is use for Pizzighetonne (got them to Serie B in 2 seasons) but i have 2 DM and 1 CM. Its worked for me but i think the main reason is for getting a whole team of loanees from Milan, Inter & Juve (affiliated clubs :D )

Ok. By the way, I have just played two matches with it and the team looks like;

Cech

Johnson -- Terry -- Hetinga -- Cole

Ballack -- Essien -- Diego

Aguero -- Silva

Pizarro

The first match I beat someone in the Champions League 4-0 away from home and qualified for the knockout stages :D and then I drew 1-1 with Everton at home :@

The formation creates lots of chances, ecspecially with Silva, Diego, Ballack and Aguero in the team. I chose Claudio Pizarro over the other strikers I have (Shevchenko, Sturridge, Owen, Cassano) as he is big and holds the ball up - obviousley it would have been Drogba but he's currently injured.

Essien sits well in the middle of the three, he plays the balls forward and drives but also sits back and helps the defence and tracks back more than Diego and Ballack seem to do - obviousley becuase he is a DM and I told him to :P

Hopefully, we will have some good times on the horizon but at the minute I can't see it, we create and don't take and then the opposition score with thier first effore :angry: But :fc:

Probably do better if you push Diego into AMC where he should work best. So you'd have Silva Aguero & Diego in the 3 AMC spots.

However, it can't be Diego becuase I have just accepted a 20million pound bid from Arsenal for him.

What's your budget after that then for a replacement? And what year are you in?

Championship Playoffs with charlton... looking good for back to back promotions.. we are the form side in the division... unfortunately the 4 wins in a row probably have to come to an end soon, and the play offs isnt really the best time for that to happen lol.

Ive done it... back to back promotions, the winning streak didnt come to an end... god the play offs are just as tense on fm as in real life though :P.

So third season: The Premiership: Charlton.

Crap start to the season :(

Blackburn: Lost 4-0

Everton: Lost 1-0

Darlington: (LC) Won 3-0.

Arsenal: Lost 4-1

Thats august done... bit worried really... spent up... way over my wage budget, massive debt :o

Was valued at 11million but sold him for 20million and now I have around 71million left now.

Signed Niko Kranjcar for 3.5million though. :D

But, I am angry now.

Right my next game was set to be Liverpool away in the quater-finals of the League Cup. Been excited for all of two days and left that game for me to play it on Saturday morning (today).

So, I went on football manager this morning (just come off it in anger) and I played Liverpool.

The game was great and I played well and took the game to penelties which I won 5-4.

I did the team talk at the end as you do and pressed continue and then my game crashed and an error message come up :angry:

I can tell you for a fact that when I go back on it I'll loose.

playing fm 08 now (second major crash - starting to think technology doesn't like me). sold Dj and Cort and used the money to buy rob hulse, fraizer campbell and krisztian Nemeth. sat in 9th place and apparently incapable of scoring.

Awesome game action yesterday.

In my Notts County game - 2nd season and 2nd promotion in a row thanks to a penalty win in the play off final against S****horpe. Rohan Ricketts with the 5th penalty after they missed one. Will post team later.

Started a network game with my mate. I'm Wales and he's Scotland. Beat him in a friendly 1-0. Then in the World Cup Qualifiers, 3-0 down to Germany at half time things looked bleak. Rang the changes, switching back to the attacking diamond formation from 5-3-2. Dragged Bellamy off for Ched Evans who bagged a brace and Rob Earnshaw nets in the 93rd minute to equalise, watched by the Scottish manager.

Epic. Woke the missus up celebrating at 3am.

3 points at Finland will see me into the World Cup with the winner of the Germany Vs Russia.

Yeah, I think I noticed him when playing FM 07 with a shoddy Danish team. Had to scour the obscure foreign clubs for gems in order to attract players :D

Ha, I found him when I started my 'bit of fun' Domzale game with oodles of cash.

I'm still playing it into 2014 :giggle:

lol fair enough, ive done games like that before.

Currently at man city, finished my pre season spending first season:

Joleon Lescott: 17.75m.

Federico Fazio: 20m.

Eric Abidal: 9.5m.

Rafinha: 13.25m.

Kun: 45m.
