That's probably down to tactics. With a little attention to where your team fails (presuming you're on par or better than the opposition) you can correct it which will improve your chances, e.g. are your wingers being starved of possession, are you giving the ball away too easily, are you exploiting the opposition's weakness enough etc. The same applies to tactical responses to the opposition.

That said, FM sometimes does you over. But that happens in real life as well, so I guess that's all well and good

well that where im stumped because i had changed it to a customised 442 (im everton btw) which usually works well as im 4th after 20 games and even in the last 10 minutes i had 63% possession and had done for most of the game but it still allows the computer to have a good 15 shots

just because they have good forwards (spurs), they had a lot of their midfield out and were playing reserve players, i was also sitting quite deep to counter the long ball as playing through that midfield would be stupid, hence why they had no possesion

But still after all of this, they manage to have all these shots on target and score 2 in the last 10 minutes after id dropped some players back, upped the time wasting, and brought on my battling strikers to chase it down and still fm just does you, fair enough their are ways of doing it properly with fm tactics (there are a lot of big guides) but they are always contradicting.

so you can never really have too much of an effect on the game unless you have 30mill wonderkids up front that can have 12 pace, 9 (yes 9) composure and 15 dribbling and somehow out run joseph yobo with 18, pace,agility and acceleration with 17 on composure, bravery, determination, strength, balance and decisions!

As Uruguay there are only 3 goalkeepers in the database that are eligible to play for me. 2 of them are injured and one of them has flu. And I'm playing Argentina (Messi, Aguero, Laurito and Tevez all to play against <_<

I hate the injuries on this. For the last 3 games ive had like 2-3 injuries a game and before that 1 a game. All my best players are injured

I like to have small squads and it's a killer sometimes, for a game just with City I had seven out injured with a squad of 18 players.

he just came back from a 4 week injury and the day after I got a message saying he pulled a hamstring in a training session and will be out for 6 weeks . useless player

just got promoted from league 2 with notts county a few games before the end of the season and signed Lewandowski after hearing his name all the time. Does he progress well from what he is now?

I had a bid accepted and agreed wages with him at the start of the League One season but pulled out, Went for a young Colombian instead and saved my cash for Lewandowski in January.

Only got a 325k transfer budget for the Chapionship I've never had it that low before, what a joke.

Still didn't do to bad just had to wheel and deal like Harry.

£1.7 for Dyer :laugh: I also can't believe I got Howard out even on loan, no-one usually ever wants him and he just sits his contract out in the reserves then retires or becomes a dodgy physio.

It's probably down to the added reputation of being a Championship club vs. a League One club pre-update.

Been knocked out of the F.A Cup by Portsmouth I wasn't that bothered as I am in the final of the coca-cola cup and playing Manchester United next in the league.

With a fit team my side looks like;

When I play sides with big men like Huntelaar, Crouch, Adebayor and Santa-Cruz put Ballack in front of them and tell him to man mark them. Works like a treat, they don't even touch the ball!

So, yes got Manchester United next. There top. Arsenal are second and I am third.

Want Adebayor, but they even rejected my £100million offer. He's great on it, he has scored 27 in 27 so far, including 4 against me (that was when I didn't do the Ballack man marking system).

I believe you because on my first ever game on FM09 way back now, after I got Leicester promoted to the championship, Howard was scoring some great goals for me as well.

In that season as well, the one after winning League 1, I played Stoke City at The Walkers Stadium and went 1-0 and in the second half won 2-1!

- How spooky is that, considering we played Swansea City in real life (SCFC just like Stoke), went 1-0 down (like on my game) and beat them 2-1 (like on my game)

- Finished 8th that season anyway!
