Koke Posted 18 September 2008 Posted 18 September 2008 This is amazing. I'm starting to remember hearing about this ages ago but I think it just got dismissed as utterly ridiculous, and now it's actually happening!Kids are basically having their alcohol and soft drug use funded as long as they "work hard". I worked f**king hard but I had to use my own (parents) cash for these things. Can I apply for a rebate? James, you're 26. I'm sure EMA was around when you went to College back then. Haven't you heard about EMA before.
The People's Hero Posted 18 September 2008 Posted 18 September 2008 James, you're 26. I'm sure EMA was around when you went to College back then. Haven't you heard about EMA before. I'm 24 and there was no trace of it back when I was drinking and not going to lessons.

James. Posted 18 September 2008 Posted 18 September 2008 James, you're 26. I'm sure EMA was around when you went to College back then. Haven't you heard about EMA before. No way. Never heard of it. Wycombe Fox Posted 18 September 2008 Posted 18 September 2008 Could one of you guys who receives EMA please tell me, honestly, what you do with it? Does any of it go towards your school/college education (not the education of life - us taxpayers are getting educated in that!!) and if so, what percentage? I think this is going to hurt! Yours sincerely Mr. Well-And-Truly-Shafted-Up-The-Jacksie-With-The-Blunt-End-Of-A-Rotating-PineappleLabour Government Isle of Wight England

We're not all stoners and ****ing wasters. James never said that you were. I'm sure you're not stupid enough to realise, that not everyone is like you and will not use this money wisely. Fair play if you're using it for education, but most people will spend theirs on, Beer, fags, drugs, phones and football matches.

lookwhaticando Posted 18 September 2008 Posted 18 September 2008 James, you're 26. I'm sure EMA was around when you went to College back then. Haven't you heard about EMA before. The scheme didn't go national until after a pilot scheme back in 2004, from what I can gather.
