Daggers Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Man short . Powell ? Starting with 10 men will surely tell on us.
JoeyB Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Pearson Names Same Starting XIPosted on: Tue 30 Sep 2008 Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has kept faith with the same XI who started Saturday's 1-0 home victory over Hartlepool United for tonight's League One showdown with Colchester United at the new Weston Homes Community Stadium. Jack Hobbs, who replaced the rested Michael Morrison at the heart of the Foxes defence at the weekend, keeps his place alongside Aleksandar Tunchev as does winger Nicky Adams, who will start on the right flank in front of Kerrea Gilbert. Matty Fryatt and Steve Howard, who have scored 10 goals between them so far this term, continue up front. The only change is on the bench where the fit-again Max Gradel replaces teenager Craig King. Colchester are also unchanged after their 4-3 victory at Tranmere on Friday night and include former Fox Matt Heath in their ranks. City: Martin, Gilbert, Hobbs, Tunchev, Powell, Adams, Oakley ©, King A, Dyer, Howard, Fryatt. Subs: Henderson, Morrison, Gradel, Berner, Wesolowski. United: Gerken, White, Jackson, Reid, Hammond, Platt, Izzet, Yeates, Heath, Perkins, Borrowdale. Subs: Coyne, Cousins, Vernon, Wordsworth, Elito. Referee: D Whitestone

Daggers Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 New approach to make it more interesting ? S'about time Pearson tried something more creative and broke from the traditional flat back four!
DB11 Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Referee from Northamptonshire. Last time he refereed Colchester he missed a blatant penalty that Colchester should have received - let's hope he doesn't feel the need to make amends for it!!

Thracian Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 We'll do well to win by one. I fancy 2-1 with Kingy and Howard scoring.
