Jay Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Surely the worst scar ever to be associated with a footballerUnless a sniper actually shoot Drogba next time he hit the deck doubt it by a long stretch it's just the most visible, however like most scars that are only 2weeks old they look far worse than they eventually turn out!! but imagine the likes of Luc Nilis or David Busst who had multiple operations after their legs basically came off but for a bit of skin the scars on their legs must be shocking.
Raj Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Looks horrendous. Cant see him playing for a very long time if ever at all. Hope he has a speedy recovery
JakeShingler Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Carry on shingler and you'll be going home with the same treatment & a thick lip taboot only joking buddy
Katy Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Poor bastard. Has anything been done about the thug that did it yet?
Raj Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Poor bastard. Has anything been done about the thug that did it yet? NOwt else can be done. Cos the ref booked him, thats it! FA....arseholes!!
Katy Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 NOwt else can be done.Cos the ref booked him, thats it! FA....arseholes!! He should privately sue him them. He's scarred for life and worse that that could've been killed.
Raj Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 He should privately sue him them. He's scarred for life and worse that that could've been killed. Hope he does. He needs to ring Claims Direct!!! Though seriously i hope he does as Morgan is a fat bastard bully boy bastard.
Nod.E Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Thirteen and a half hours it all took, she barely felt a thing during or afterwards. Immature, I know.
Ultra Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 NOwt else can be done.Cos the ref booked him, thats it! FA....arseholes!! The FA can review punishments in "exceptional circumstances" - which as the photo shows, clearly apply. Morgan should face a long ban, as should the ref.
iancognito Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Jesus that from a headbutt???Although i did watch episode 7 of band of brothers today and a dude died pretty quickly after being shot in the leg my whole world has been turned upside down. Wasn't a headbutt it was sneaky elbow. The police shouldn't be involved but Morgan should have been hauled in front of the FA and given a 10 match ban. Walshie got something similar for doing a Shrewsbury player once IIRC.

You only have to look at the Thatcher/Mendes situation. Thatcher only received a yellow card for the incident, but the FA reviewed it and banned him for several matches.
The Stig Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 You only have to look at the Thatcher/Mendes situation. Thatcher only received a yellow card for the incident, but the FA reviewed it and banned him for several matches. Lets hope the same thing happens again.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Having seen this on SkySports news, Hume is very lucky to be doing as well as he is. He seems to take it quite well on the interview too. If I was him, I would level that idiot who caused this in the first place.I hadn't seen the incident before today, but that was an absolute disgrace. Why has the FA not acted quicker? Total disgrace. He clearly takes out Hume before making any effort whatsoever "to go for the ball". Total disgrace. Knock him out Hume. Apparently the FA are waiting for more evidence from Barnsley before acting. That's the last I heard. Jesus that from a headbutt???Although i did watch episode 7 of band of brothers today and a dude died pretty quickly after being shot in the leg my whole world has been turned upside down. He didnt! Its from the operation!Dont think much can be done about it because Morgon got a booking for it! NOwt else can be done.Cos the ref booked him, thats it! FA....arseholes!! I was about to pipe up all clever like but Ultra and Scoweh beat me to it

Nationwider Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Hume's been readmitted to hospital today, according to SSN.
Katy Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Hume's been readmitted to hospital today, according to SSN. Oh no really? Anyone got any more news on that?
Corky Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Hume's been readmitted to hospital today, according to SSN. I hope Chris Morgan is really struggling with his conscience at the moment. Really struggling. Hope you get better soon Humey, you don't deserve this at all.
Nationwider Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 ...just got in and it flashed up on the yellow bar thing on SSN about 10:30pm. They said they'd got no further details as yet and now they're not running it....
jimmer Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Makes Cech look like a right wuss wearing that head thing! Seriously though... that's one hell of a head bashing Morgan gave Humey... disgrace... police should be involved for that! Agreed. Morgan should be done for ABH.....if it happened in the street he would. Whys it different on the footy pitch?

Hmm I hope it's not too serious.

From scanning other forum sites: Radio 5 Live have received unconfirmed reports that he has suffered an epileptic seizure. Not sure on the accuracy but it's the best I can find.
Ozwin Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I hope he gets better, this sort of thing has no place in football.
