I must say I don't recall much "sexy football" from Scun thorpe, plenty of long balls though.

Just watched the virgin highlishts a little more closely. This guy should sort his own game out before criticising others. He lost physical battles with DJ Campbell for both goals and was embarrassingly poor on the first.

I wonder how is going to explain the Tranmere result tonight.

Despite being assisted by the fact Tranmere were missing several key players due a flu bug and having the better of the decisions from an extravagantly erratic referee S****horpe were well beaten tonight. Some decent chances at the start of the second half and that was about it. They certainly didn't look like automatic promotion contenders.

I wouldn't have marked them down as promotion contenders anyway in all fairness. If you look at their squad, fanbase and finances, League One is probably about as high they can expect to remain for any length of time. I fully expect them to fall away and miss out on the playoffs come May.
