Just wanted to shamelessly plug my Photography page on Facebook. I'm no proffessional and don't claim to be. Just a hobby i really love and enjoy sharing my photos with like minded enthusiasts. Hope whoever has a look, likes what they see. Images of all sorts in there. Cheers.

Really enjoyed looking at these. Some stunning shots. You've got a real knack for taking shots of people too, something I find really difficult.

I'm no expert, so I could well be talking out of my arse, but on several of your landscape/water shots I noticed that the horizon wasn't quite, well, horizontal, which detracted from the shot, for me. (I realise some were hills, etc, but I'm talking about those pics specifically where I felt the horizon should have been level!) Just something you might want to bear in mind. :dunno:

In terms of quality this one is lacking but I really like the actual photo, it's me and my sister at the grand canyon in '06

That is amazing, how you had the balls to sit that close to the edge is beyond me. I'd have **** myself being like 5 metres from the edge.

I have to say, I don't really give a hoot what you've been photographing to be honest, MikeyT.

Is that your reflection in its eyes, would be interesting to Photoshop that eye if you shot it in high res.

Oooh so it is. I didn't notice that before. lol

It was definitely the weirdest looking one there. Reminded me of something from Star Wars. lol

Do you have any qualifications in photography Mikey? My daughter is hoping to do photography at 'a' level, I just wondered if it was a good course.

A few of my friends do it and apparently it is alot about analyzing photos rather than taking them.

No i unfortunately don't mate. I've been doing photography for 3 years now, i'm totally self taught. To be honest for the amount of time i have been doing it for i should be better at it really. Read alot of books on it and try and watch videos on it as well when i can. Am currently looking into doing a nightschool class somewhere on it, so i can at least get some form of qualification in the area, so at least then potential employers will see i'm trying.

Good luck to your daughter. If she ends up loving photography as much as i do then she'll get alot out of it.

If you go to photobucket and upload a photo there, it will give you 4 codes underneath the photo once it's uploaded, then you need to pick the "img" one and literally just paste the code in here without having to use the image icon here.

If that makes sense? lol

See any of LargeAl's responses to Wymsey's pathetic attempts to post a picture.
