What's wrong with Northampton or Milton Keynes  ?

i think the answer to that is in the question....

Well the post you quoted to begin this whole rant was sarcastic. As were all the posts in this thread relating to us being a "big club". There may be some Leicester fans who still believe it, but the majority on this message board don't.

Exactly, in the same way you might read "Kokopops is a respected poster". It's sarcasm. Having a bit of a laugh because we know it's blatantly not the case.

Just to let you Posh fans know, a poster called Raj is always serious and means everything he says, you should listen to him, not the rest of us.

Haha! I encounter jealousy a lot (as you can imagine) but this is ridiculous.

They just copy us. They play in blue, like us, they had Tony Spearing and Neil Lewis, like us, they even had our floodlights didn't they?

Posh (wank).

Another team wanting a rivalry?

The A47 derby? :dunno:

Franchise are the rivals of every football club by default. Club stealing sods. :@

Northampton, now that has potential as a rivalry. The Battle for Little Bowden ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Bowden ) maybe?

Leicester has rivalries with Northampton in cricket and rugby, maybe we should follow the trend... :D

Franchise are my local club, and are arguably my 2nd team  .

They beat us in the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1993.

Who do they think they are?

All together now...

'Wine the bobbin up, wine the bobbin up, wine the bobbing up. All today long'.

Successful catch - ''it's a beauty''.

Wind the bobbin up? - Or have I bitten again??

Look let's be honest no ones after a new rivalry as we only probably play each other every fifteen years. In fact lots of our supporters used to come to Filbert Street to cheer on 'Citeh' in the old First Division days when posh were playing away in some far flung town of the basement division.

This was probably the first fixture that Posh fans looked for when the fixtures came out(due to it being local and bound to be a good day out) even before Leeds - lets face it even us lot from the darkest regions in the fens know that they are the real deluded arrogant ones.

Most Posh fans will be happy if it were 'Citeh' that went up behind us in the runners up spot.

God Bless you all XX

Is that honestly true?

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!..........No it is actually 100% true more often if you were at home to the likes of Man U and Liverpool. There you go we love you.

Nothing like his dad at all. If you couldn't read surnames, you would never know they were relation.

Better football manager too!

What I want to know is whatever happened to Russell Plummer and Melvyn Beck?

They were football writers on the Peterborough

Evening Telegraph in the 70's...

Sarcasm?? Don't believe a word of it! I've seen this 'arrogance' with my own eyes when I've watched my team at Filbert Street in the past. Admitingly it's not all of you!

Have the people of Leicester gone soft all of a sudden - maybe the repeated plays of Chelsea Dagger going over and over in your head have affected your minds! next you'll be telling me you'll be lining the streets giving us a guard of honour into the Stadium.

I've never really had a problem with 'Citeh' (appart from the alleged arrogance) and will be the first to admit we'll never be proper rivals, but here's hoping that our game has the cracking atmosphere that many of your home games this season seem to have been lacking.

Looking forward to another WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

Up The Posh.

I think you got our boys completely wrong. Irony, man. It's all about the irony.

Keep posting  and don't fall into the "I don't get it" trap. Sulking et al.

How many other teams have outnumbered Peterborough at their own ground? Lost 3-0 that day if I remember, good fun though, did they ever rebuild the stand?

Were you one of the streakers? Don't remember any stand being demolished that day - just your back four

| do remember a large group of city fans running amok through town after and an innocent taxi driver being hospitalised - you must be very proud. Shame it was in the pre Youtube days or else you could revel in your glory again and again.
