C-man Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Spot on Although my hate for Leeds is far superior than Peterborough (for obvious reasons, i.e. fans are racist, ignorant, up their own arse cunts), I'll tend to agree. We need to win tomorrow and make our home games against the bigger teams count. Leeds away is just a possible bonus.

We need to win tomorrow and make our home games against the bigger teams count. Leeds away is just a possible bonus. At this moment, Peterborough are looking a lot more threatening than Leeds. To beat Peterborough would mean more than beating Leeds, as we'll end their unbeaten run and if we lose, we'll never hear the end of it.
syston_fox Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I'll be completely and say half of the people who use FT are utter tools who speak crap most of the time. Feel free to send out some flak my way. Apart from that, they leave Leicester too early, spend far too long at service stations and generally it's no cheaper than if 4 of you get together and go in the car. 1 - There are only a handful of people who use the coaches who are "utter tools who speak crap most of the time." 2 - They leave in plenty of time to allow people to have a drink at the ground when they get there if they choose too. And don't forget that coaches aren't as fast as cars so have to leave earlier!! 3 - Spend a long time at the service stations because there are normally at least two coach loads of people who stop there (and thats not including the other travellers who are also using the service station at that time.) With that many people, you need a substantial stop so that if you want a hot meal then you have time to queue up and actually eat it as well. It's not 4 spotty chavs from a boy racer, running in to the services, pissing up the wall, racing to mcdonalds and then straight back onto the road spilling crap down their burberry shirts on the way.

I'll give you a clue- we had none, you however
DB11 Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Which club had more fans arrested for racism last season? I'll give you a clue- we had none, you however Yes most of our fans are racist living in Leicester an' all
Steven Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 You may mock the people who use it, but I made a lot of friends on there, and had some bloody good laughs over the years. What have I being doing wrong?
leedslad Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Yes most of our fans are racist living in Leicester an' all Where you live isn't relevant. That argument doesn't make sense either considering Leeds is an ethnically diverse city.
andyh1884 Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Which club had more fans arrested for racism last season? I'll give you a clue- we had none, you however Are you suggesting Leeds don't have racist fans because you didn't have anyone arrested for it last season? I'd be interested to know where it was that we had fans arrested for racist chanting. If it was at home, it would suggest our stewards/police actually take action against this sort of thing. By the same token, the small minority who do it at your ground are obviously just allowed to carry on. And it does happen at your place, I've witnessed it first hand. I had the misfortune to be sat amongst the home fans when we got beat 3-0 a few years back & the bloke behind me was screaming 'Heskey you black cu nt' every time he touched the ball. As a 15-year-old lad I didn't really fancy challenging the knuckle-dragging neanderthal on his attitude towards Heskey.

I'm suggesting you're hardly a shining light of integration yourselves so it's quite retarded to say we're anymore racist than you. I do realise we have some racist fans as all clubs do, I'm not pretending it doesn't happen.

Floating Fox Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 You may mock the people who use it, but I made a lot of friends on there, and had some bloody good laughs over the years. To be fair you'd stuggle to find more window lickers and people who generally don't have a clue anywhere else...Theres no getting away from that. I prefer to use the supporter ran coaches if It comes down to gerrin' the coach. Its safe to say now I have car usage, I doubt i'll have to get it again.

CosbehFox Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Harsh. Couldn't really get annoyed about it anyways. For me, the journey's part of the day but if your journey involves being sat down on a seat like a lemon with young kids at the back singing right side, left side, fantastists to your left who claim they've been every away game since time dot and the dafty to the right who says he can do better than Howard. Then FT isn't for me.

If you get on the coach all doom and gloom looking for things that annoy you then you will hate it. Get on the coach with some mates, lighten up a bit and you can have a good laugh. Oh and I've no idea what you mean by "fantastists" but I do know quite a few people who use Fox Travel who haven't missed a single game home or away in a good 8 years (longer in some cases) except for that Millwall game when away fans were banned. These people do exist you know. And as for your bit saying they're better than Howard? Stand anywhere in the Walkers Stadium and you will hear the same comments being shouted. Look at that guy at Carlisle who launced into a tirrade of abuse against Hobbs because of one mis-placed pass.
Father Ted Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 If we win this it will be the best result this year imo.

Collymore Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Got my tickets through today and it looked like half of the ticket was missing
syston_fox Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Got my tickets through today and it looked like half of the ticket was missing Yeah thats what I thought when I got mine, but so long as you have the bar code bit then it's fine!

Maybes Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 Whats the parking like round Elland Road? Not too bad. There are a few cars parks off the main roads in around the stadium, plus one massive car by McDonalds opposite the ground.
Lillehamring Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 Oh god. This is possibly the reason we will slip up tomorrow. Overlooking Peterborough and looking forward to Leeds. Tomorrows game is bigger than Leeds. paranoid. much. starting a match day thread early is not overlooking anything - it's called being excited - just look at the happy posh fans who started the posh PMT weeks ago (and that didn't lead to any 'defeat through premature discussion'). it's good to see some enthusiasm, some anticipation for games. so just calm down a bit

It was hardly a toys-out-of-pram rant. Tilley made a valid point, I thought.
