Number 6 Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I asked my parents for a Leicester City away shirt for Xmas and told them what I wanted on the back. Opened it on Xmas, delighted. Only for someone to mention today "is it supposed to be spelt wrong?". I am hoping it's a mistake by someone at the shop and I will therefore be able to obtain a correct one, but in the meantime, for your enjoyment:
carterfox90 Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 oh dear that has surely got to be the shops fault as you ask them to put the name on they should know how to spell the the players name :giggle:
StanSP Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Gotta be the shops fault!! They must know how to spell LLOYD DYER!! If it can't be changed, that's quite an expensive mistake - not just because of the money spent on 2 numbers and 15 letters, but also in amount of embarrassment for ya!!
Number 6 Posted 5 January 2009 Author Posted 5 January 2009 I think it may be the shop's fault. I am hoping so anyway. May be resigned to the draw otherwise. EDIT: Either that or start a new religion.
Zingari Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 you could start a new trend , i'm going to ask for "Dolly Drey" on my next shirt
Zingari Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I think it may be the shop's fault. I am hoping so anyway. May be resigned to the draw otherwise.EDIT: Either that or start a new religion. considering this is a thread about poor spelling , do you mean "consigned to the drawer" ? or are you just accepting the result against CP ?
Finnegan Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Is he welsh? I personally see no problem with this picture.
Zingari Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I personally see no problem with this picture. his name is number 6 and they've put 11 on it
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I don't get this thread is LLYOD DYER not # 11
Finchy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Ooops It must be the shop's fault tho, because as people have already said, if your parents spelt it like that surely the person in the shop would have pointed out it's not spelt like that? Although it is the megastore <_<
syston_fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I even saw that picture on facebook and didnt notice the mistake!
samlcfc Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 even if ure parents did tell them how to spell it. you needn't tell the store. Just say its their problem
Brother Reynard Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Come on number 6, name and shame. Where did your folks get the shirt printed? And can we have them as our new shirt sponsors please...
Number 6 Posted 5 January 2009 Author Posted 5 January 2009 The megastore have agreed to change the shirt.
