Russell352 Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Leicester City's League One clash against Leeds United, which will be played on Monday, April 13 2009, will now kick-off at 12:15pm. The game was originally due to start at 3pm on Easter Monday, but the time has changed to accommodate the SKY TV live cameras. http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1537547,00.html
JoeyB Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 fook off Sky. Although its good TV revenue means we have to get up earlier <_<
Stevosevic Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Yes! I can't make this game due to family commitments back in Norwich, so i can watch.

What time do pubs open these days?Thats bollocked my pre game pint now.
Monk Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 On the plus side, that's a long evening's drinking to celebrate being mathematically promoted.
ozleicester Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 does that mean it will be online somewhere???
maddog Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 theres a lot of alcoholic Leicester fans aren't there? Going crazy because they will have less or no time in the pub very sad. Theres nothing wrong with that kick off time, who cares if you have less time in the pub before the game you will save money. Or just have longer after the game
Fosse Boy Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 I think it was always inevitable if we're honest.

maddog Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Think of the people who will have to leave 3 hours then they originally would. We don't just have supporters that live in Leicester. Didn't think of that mainly because i saw another post saying what time do the pubs open these days At least the people travelling will get back earlier. IMO they would surely prefer leaving earlier, getting back earlier
Corky Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Shouldn't be a problem for me, but I understand other supporters live quite a way from Leicester and it could be difficult for them.

IMO they would surely prefer leaving earlier, getting back earlier I rather personally play at 3 as Ive got to leave about 9:30/10. And with it being a Bank Holiday, less sleeping time. But as you say, at least I get home earlier. ACTUALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive just remembered a very important game on this day. That Im going to rush back for. HAHA. Great Decision.
MPH Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Think of the people who will have to leave 3 hours then they originally would. We don't just have supporters that live in Leicester. on the plus side... they get home at a reasonable time.
Fosse Boy Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 At least it doesn't clash with the start of Hallaton Bottle Kicking now! http://www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/content/art...g_feature.shtml

StanSP Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Hope I will be able to get this somewhere in Holland. I'm on a football tour and I don't want to miss our Title-winning (hopefully) and leeds-crushing performance!
