SussexFox Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 yep the mans a tribute to the game from the old Giggs who terrorised defenses down teh wing its equally impressive how he's managed to adapt his game in recent years
Mikey Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Was thinking this as well. He's absolute class.
Koke Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 He's got a hairy chest. Anyone who has ranked up over 700 appearances for the biggest club in the country is a legend amongst men. And 10 league titles + 2 CL trophies along the way isn't too bad I suppose.
JoeyB Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 He is a great player. I can see why Ronaldo is highly rated, today i observed him and him only for about 5 mins, and some of the runs he makes are great.

Even on a bad day he was still a nuisance. His free kicks needs sorting out though. Great versatile player, and he's a joy to watch. His movements off & on the ball are superb.
Sparky Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Cracking servant to United and football as a whole
Jordan Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 When Chelsea came to Old Trafford this season, they had Lampard and Deco in the middle going against Fletcher and 35-year-old and slightly-out-of-position Ryan Giggs. United dominated Chelsea that day. That alone says a lot--even without going into his decorated career.
Cobbo Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 He's another player (ala Shearer) who once his legs have gone (although he is still not particularly slow) has been able to change his game to suit and enabled himself to carry on playing at the highest level. Really shows talent when you can do that.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 He's really in great form at the moment, completely and utterly outshone Ronaldo.

Finnegan Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Thirteen replies and not one "should have picked England." I'm proud of you boys.
Bert Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Name me one other player that's scored in every prem season? Legend.
Suffolk_fox Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Not only a top player, but like Scholes, you never ever read about him on the front pages of the newspapers. A top ambassador and probably one of the last of the 'one club players'
Simi Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 Shame that he'll never play in a World Cup really.
BoneDog Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 The guy is a legend. I don't like the mancs but Giggs is one player up there who I have had respect for since the early days. He has a good football attitude aswell as all the talent. He's been playing at the top level since the get-go. Has he ever even been out on loan? I seem to remember him playing at Manchester forever.
BoneDog Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Name me one other player that's scored in every prem season? Legend. There isn't one. He is Chesney Hawkes in that respect
lildave3 Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 Name me one other player that's scored in every prem season? Legend. Gary Speed was robbed basically.

I was planning to do that if you hadn't already piped up! Not only a top player, but like Scholes, you never ever read about him on the front pages of the newspapers.A top ambassador and probably one of the last of the 'one club players' I saw an interview with Scholes some time around the beginning of this season and thought "hmmm, I didn't expect him to sound like that". It was then I realised I've never heard him do an interview before The guy is a legend. I don't like the mancs but Giggs is one player up there who I have had respect for since the early days. Nah, he's been at Man Utd since the start. Exquisite player
