act smiley Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Yeah, thought both their second and third should have been ruled out really; no.2 was clear offside and handball, for the third it looked like an offside player got in the way of the keeper, but thats one of those things thats only clear on TV most of the time.
Uncle Albert Posted 17 September 2009 Author Posted 17 September 2009 First time ever or in so many years that all four English teams have won their opening Champs League fixture. Liverpool will be better against better opposition, impressed with Arsenal's comeback.
Budweiser Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Rubin Kazan 1-0 Inter Milan. 12 minutes gone. Slapped Inter! Edit: 1-1. Stankovic. Rubin should have scored before though!

Head Honcho Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Got a soft spot for Fiorentina, florence is one of my fave places in the world. They look good tonight. They are 3rd in Serie A how on earth could they be 3/1 at home to beat Liverpool?
Budweiser Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 They are 3rd in La Liga how on earth could they be 3/1 at home to beat Liverpool?
Darkzzz_ Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 How many times do they have to say "typical Italian" fook sake. Fiorentina have been the better side, they are a good team in the league too and if Andy Gray and co watched Serie A they would see the league has improved. I don't expect Fiorentina to go further than Liverpool but I am pleased they beat them and deservedly so.

Barca looked good ey nath, should of scored a bag full but only came away with two, Keita was class tonight, heavily underrated player.
Darkzzz_ Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 This. But they're in the 'premiership is the best league' bubble. Ah well, I can't expect them to say anything other I guess. It's just very annoying and disrespectful, it would be like me saying the "Bundesliga is so poor", I don't watch it apart from when I see them in the CL so I can't pass judgement. I watch a lot of Italian TV and football and the amount of positive things they say about the Premiership is astounding. They adore Gerrard too on one particular channel which angers my girlfriends dad (Italian), he doesn't like it. I think mainly because of the negative things Sky say to feed their puppets. Barca looked good ey nath, should of scored a bag full but only came away with two, Keita was class tonight, heavily underrated player. I watched the Fiorentina game to be honest as I just felt Barca wouldn't be tested really. I did see the highlights and it was very pleasing to see Pedro score and Messi who I believe made it 18 goals from 31 CL games. Excellent.
Uncle Albert Posted 30 September 2009 Author Posted 30 September 2009 Shoddy performance by Liverpool, shoddy.
