Part Of The Crowd Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 What's funny about that? Well, apart from me being bitter about Leeds last minute winner against us at the weekend the Leeds boards were getting plagued by United fans saying Liverpool was the real rivalry in the build up to the cup game .
lavrentis Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Good finish. Don't mind United in the CL.
Darkzzz_ Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 United are the only English team I'd want to see do well. As I respect them the most. Berbatov has been superb. Milan are awful, why they appointed the man, well he won't be around for much longer, they have been embarrassing in the league and now on the verge of this defeat to Zurich, Madrid will crush them with ease.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Wasn't particularly impressed with them again but they know how to win.
MC Prussian Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Hahahaha. I'm cannot hide it, I'm so excited. AC Milan losing to FC Zurich. Hahahahaha.
lavrentis Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Impressive for Minows such as Zurich to be winning.
Salieri Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Man Utd know how to win. Thats what separates them from the also rans. People go on about all of the late goals they score (not talking about tonight, it wasn't that late) but they have a never say die spirit that Fergie has installed, that some confuse with good fortune.
lildave3 Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Giggs is getting quite the verbal jizzing right now.
Unit Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Giggs is getting quite the verbal jizzing right now. "OH MY GOD WHAT A THROWING BY GIGGS" "WHO SAW GIGGS SPIT THEN? IT WAS POETRY"
lavrentis Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Nice Banner behind the goal "Cyprus is Greek".
AjcW Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Only 3 of Milan's starting 11 were under the age of 32! They still have that problem of sticking with old players just because they have legend status at the club.
MC Prussian Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Only 3 of Milan's starting 11 were under the age of 32! They still have that problem of sticking with old players just because they have legend status at the club. And it showed, they were god-awful at going forward, let alone at creating pressure and/or speed in the process.
Bert Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Marseille look decent. Quality goal from Ronaldo.
StanSP Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Marseille look decent. Quality goal from Ronaldo. How many goals has he got so far for Madrid?
Koke Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 7 in 8 or something like that. Those fascists in white are flying big time.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 Apparently Stevan Jovetic didn't exist before last night.
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 Apparently Stevan Jovetic didn't exist before last night. Yeah to most mugs.
Uncle Albert Posted 1 October 2009 Author Posted 1 October 2009 And Gerrard Funny. Dickhead. The bumming Giggs is getting at the minute is amusing, probably get PFA player again. Whats that 9 in 7 for Ronaldo? VIVA RONALDO!
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 Ronaldo is on form and the scary part is I don't even think he has hit his best form yet. La Liga and Europe beware. I can't see any Italian teams getting past the knock-out stages again this season, whilst the league has been exciting, they still need vast improvements to compete in the CL. I hope I'm wrong and Juve progress but they lack a clinical striker. So it's over to the 4 from England again, Madrid, Barca, Bayern and maybe Lyon. Madrid (I hate to say it) will probably win it in their own backyard just due to the amount they have spent and the fact they actually look convincing again. Barca will have a huge say in it and I think Chelsea might too, finally! Plenty of Zola-esque goals this week, Arshavin for Arsenal, Falcao for Porto and my favourite coming from Tihinen in F.C Zurich's win over the awful Milan.
