To be fair, even with that borne in mind, wanting England's best player to get injured just so they have less of a shout in South Africa is more than a little childish. No wonder Scotland do poorly if their fans derive more pleasure from English failure than Scottish success.

Also, Nani has looked a completely different player this season, when he's turned it on.

I hate man united as much as the rest of "the big four" and incase you haven't noticed i'm a scottish leicester fan - englands failure is all there has been to enjoy of late so if england are missing they're only player who can do it on the international stage for the world cup then i'm pretty darn happy. Dude, as an Englishman living in Scotland, I havenever been so petty as to wish injury to any Scotland player. In fact I like to see Scotland win more often than not. Your comment betrays a massive chip on your shoulder... If you really want "tae be a nation again" you could start by being a tad more grown up in your relations with your neighbours.
