Asha Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Yes but you are a tyipcal German, a nob, an idiot, can't handle your drink, sing stupid football chants etc My days, how many more unfounded generalisations do you want to fit into a sentence?
Fosse Boy Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Yes but you are a tyipcal German, a nob, an idiot, can't handle your drink, sing stupid football chants etc Pleasure to meet you too chap. Go on, give up your stupid obsession with me and fuck off.
C-man Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Those unruly, truculent Germans with their light-weight beer and stupid chants. An embarrasment to fussball.
Fosse Boy Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Those unruly, truculent Germans with their light-weight beer and stupid chants. An embarrasment to fussball. I'm truly ashamed of my nationality. Wish I was Ingurlish.

AyewJoking Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Strange that nobody has pointed out that this was a quite blatant racist remark - imagine the fuss if that statment had been made about African or Muslim players. There again, maybe not when it comes to Sir Alex, who seems to get away with everything. It's not the racism that I object to here it's the sheer lack of graciousness in defeat. No one has done more to lower the standards of sportsmanship (in the land that invented it) than this bitter, twisted and greedy Jock (go on, call me a racist now). And the defeat didn't really hurt him as much as he made out judging by his antics at Aintree the very next day (carousing too with the manager of his club's next opponents on the eve of their encounter). Virtually any other coach that I could think of would have been crucified for either of these indiscretions. Imagine the uproar if one of his players were to do something similar following a defeat. Fergie really does anger me with his behavior but in a way its nice to see an old man who has so much experience and so many trophies yet he still acts like a kid when things dont go his way.
purpleronnie Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Inter milan to win the CL. You read it hear first.
AjcW Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Apparently a certain Mr Zlat is back tonight. No Iniesta sadly. I think i'll go for 1-1 in the first leg. Inter are so solid defensively and now have a decent threat upfront, the main reason they have made it this far this year and will therefore be a big test for barca. I think Barca will line up like this. Valdes. Puyol. Pique. Milito. Alves. Toure. Busquets. Xavi. Messi. Zlat. Pedro () Hernandez. Got 12/1 On Xavi to score first. Thought that was a good deal.
Fosse Boy Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 I too will be hoping for a win for our Italian sister club...
StanSP Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Can see this game being a very tight draw, but hoping for a Barca win nevertheless.
Joe. Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Tight game which I think Barca will sneak on the night. One or two nil I think, probably Ibrahimovic scoring at some point.
maddog Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Will it be Mourinho magic resulting in a 2-1 win for Inter. Or Messi magic 3-0 Barca. We shall see.
Uncle Albert Posted 20 April 2010 Author Posted 20 April 2010 Errr, OK... God I really didnt think it would be this easy to wind someone up, God you Germans! I only have to put a and you come back replying to me, o dear o dear. Well anyway back to the football, hoping for an Inter win but I dont think 1-0 will be good enough for them they need at least need to be 2 goals ahead of Barca or I can't see them going through to the Final. Obviously the Inter defence needs to be at its best to keep Messi, Zlat and Pedro quiet and Cambiasso needs to be at top level aswell. So going to go for a 2-1 Inter win, Eto'o, Cambiasso and Pedro for Barca.

Edmund Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 What a game so far That was shocking defending from Inter for Barcelona's first.
Matt Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 G'won Inter! Not overly bothered who wins this match both great sides, Think Inter just edge my support just for the Jose factor
Tilley Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Still struggle to watch a game that doesn't involve an English team, don't know why, just can't even get into it.
AjcW Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Enjoyable first half, edged by inter in my opinion. Barca looked good early, got slightly complacent once pedro had scored and paid the price. Depending on whats being said at half time I think 3-1 either way.
Edmund Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Still struggle to watch a game that doesn't involve an English team, don't know why, just can't even get into it. You should be used to it, you support Arsenal....
