RizLCFC Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1573617,00.html Love the Pearson & Gradel picture at the end, always like to see that from managers.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 It's good to see that Pearson is still giving Gradel the attention and support that someone like him needs. No doubt this goes on in training as well.
Guest nathan. Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I thought gradel was short of confidence, but i thought wrong Was a screamer, so yeh NP must be really helping him
BoneDog Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 That pic of Nigel and Max is one of the best for a long time. Love it
MC Prussian Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Max-Alain really is short. Still looks like a kiddo.
Phube Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 how come ld3 is always in the crowd pics ? The one on the front, left?
AoWW Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 There's a couple of old farts in this one: One of whom appears to be sniffing that poor young girl's armpit?!
davieG Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 which one? If I could read you lettering I'd say - 4th from the left with the gormless open mouth look, well it was a crap game, I look like a potential paedo smelling the little girls armpit - Thracian is two seats to the right with a black baseball cap on. One of whom appears to be sniffing that poor young girl's armpit?! That's the one!

That's the one! it's number 2! i saw you and thracian while leaning against the lucky lamp post; i also saw AOWW, raj, the hullfoxes, scowy and cobbo (4 minutes before kick off ) team ched (as they rushed by)
Alexikokopops Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 The one on the front, left? It's a classic that never grows old
Corky Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 it's number 2! i saw you and thracian while leaning against the lucky lamp post; i also saw AOWW, raj, the hullfoxes, scowy and cobbo (4 minutes before kick off ) team ched (as they rushed by) I saw loads of FTers- Lisa, Sir Fynwy, Daggers, Ched, Tommeh, Tilley, Joe, Ld3, JoeyB, syston_fox, Bert, Maybes, Leicester Lass, Ashley. We are everywhere
Candidcamera Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I have seen the Gradel freekick on TV - that has to be the best freekick from a Leicester City player since I started watching the City in the 1960's. Not joking it was suberb. The fact that it came in such a crucial way says this lad should be given a full starting place.

I cant remember a player scoring a free kick like that for us for years. Maybe i was just stupidly drunk?

Candidcamera Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 It's all a matter of opinion of course but the post was covered and he placed it in the top corner. Les blasted it not so difficult a technique. The nearest I remember was the Wortho efforts floated into the corners. I have sat at the matches for years now and was convinced that we had not produced anyone capable of this type of freekick.
Guest Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I saw this sign on the walk to the ground. Thank you very much lads, we did.

(Collymore's hat-trick debut game) I'm sure Oakes scored a great freekick that day. Gradel was amazing though and much more enjoyable due to what it meant, and the celebrations

Gradel was amazing though and much more enjoyable due to what it meant, and the celebrations Joey Gudjonsson against Stoke away, think it was a Friday night, that was pretty special! Didnt mean as much as Maxi's freekick was but to be fair that was one helll of a fiinsih!
