lavrentis Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 If we dont win this then we want bloody shooting! This is MUST win.
maddog Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 I can't see us losing this one, unless Cheltenham go Ultra Defense.A convincing win and a relief after all these draws in the past few weeks. 4-0 to us. Can't see them doing that, draws aren't good enough for them to stay up. If they could guarantee home wins, or wins against the shitter teams in the division it would be alright to draw to us, but they can't guarantee that so they will be going all out for a win.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Some people think Saturday will be a walk in the park.I think some shall be suprised. Yeah, Only by the amount we'll score though. Not by Cheltenham.

I agree with you for once. I think Cheltenham will go all out for the win at the risk of getting shit on. Draws aren't good enough for them anymore. Yeah, Only by the amount we'll score though. Not by Cheltenham. Like Swindon at home? Brighton at home? When people were saying 3/4 nil wins?
Fox You Forest Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Like Swindon at home? Brighton at home? When people were saying 3/4 nil wins? Both much better sides than Cheltenham, Coalville Town would give these a run for there money. All the players up for sale, -35 goal difference, Martin Allen and not won in god knows how many i can't see any thing other than a decent win.

I would like to agree with you, I really would. But after watching us against Brighton, Oldham, Swindon & Stockport, I just can't see us thrashing Cheltenham they way some think. This would be the perfect game to try and build some confidence at home, grab a few goals & get a comfortable three points & I, as much as the next man would love to see us win 4/5 nil, it'd be fantastic, but I honestly can't see it happening.
Fox92 Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 I can see Martin Allen getting up for this one because of the circumstances when he was manager here. __ Elvis Hammond hat-trick
Tilley Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 I can see Martin Allen getting up for this one because of the circumstances when he was manager here.__ Elvis Hammond hat-trick HA! If Elvis Hammond scores a hat trick, I will tea bag everyone in the stadium.
lavrentis Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 HA! If Elvis Hammond scores a hat trick, I will tea bag everyone in the stadium. I might just stay at home then.
Guest Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 HA! If Elvis Hammond scores a hat trick, I will tea bag everyone in the stadium. Should we blame you if there's a low attendance for this one?

Bloody hell, I agree with maddog , it would be better for Cheltenham if they came to win. Their life in this division is slipping fast, so why not go out with a bang?
MC Prussian Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Cheltenham couldn't even afford a scouting report on Swindon. However, Allen said he would get somebody to do it for Saturday's game. Poor club, poor form. Hope they'll recuperate. Just not against us.
Matt Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 A 4-0 double over them. I think i'm being abit too optimistic there though...
bluebeau Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 A 4-0 double over them. I think i'm being abit too optimistic there though... This will be one game that Mad-dog Allen will want to win. I'm sure he would love to give MM the 2 fingered salute! I hope the crowd give MA a good reception, 'cos he was very well liked by the supporters during his short spell with city. Can see the crowd taking the piss out of Elvis though! Hopefully it will be 3 or 4 nil to city.
BlabyFox Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 We are gonna destroy this bankrupt bottom-of-the-table shit and all abuse martin allen at 4-0.
Joe. Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 0-0 written all over it with us at the moment. Oh, and did anybody see Elvis bag a brace for them last night? What a guy.
StanSP Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 At the risk of sounding stupid, what's wrong with maddog doing these optimeters??
maddog Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 At the risk of sounding stupid, what's wrong with maddog doing these optimeters?? Everyone hates me I love it how this already has 72 votes days before the game even though the Stockport one only got 57 and i bet some of them were voted after the match. Im not hip and cool like Joey B Im not bothered, in my eyes its still my optimeter anyway
Samilktray Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 At the risk of sounding stupid, what's wrong with maddog doing these optimeters?? <_<
Thracian Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 You'd think Pearson would be seething after our latest of a line of inept displays but I'm not convinced. When the troops falter you look to the commander and the only thing of note he's done lately is to wipe the smile off Gradel's face. I'd love to hear Knowitall's genuine opinion of Pearson because, despite our flattering record, I'm not convinced by so many things he does or doesn't do. Like Kilworth says you have to wonder about some of the motives within our club too. It's hard to put a finger on it from the outside but the fans sometimes seem to come a long way down in the club's thinking. Despite our laboured look these days you have to believe we'll beat Cheltenham. But after that, I don't know. There was a time when I wouldn't believe I could read a list of names like Tranmere, Colchester, Peterborough, Carlisle, Southend and S****horpe and not be sure we would not only win but be a class apart. But not now. I wouldn't put money on any of those results. In fact our Chosen Men seem so devoid of energy these days that we're there for the taking by almost anyone with a bit of competitive bite and the ability to counter at pace and in numbers.
BoneDog Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 What reception are Martin Allen/Elvis Hammond going to get anyway? They will both get a clap from me. Elvis for his goal against Spurs in FA Cup on that great day and Martin cos I just love him
StanSP Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 <_< Here we go. What have I said this time that's annoyed you so much that you have to post that?
