Alexikokopops Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 I'm glad that I am not alone. I don't have a stiletto but I'm willing to contribute some kind of brick Oh i forgot to add mine.. Bill Hicks does it for me.. One of the greatest ever, shame his life was cut so short... Dlyan Moran's another great shout I like you two Oh, and Dylan Moran is brilliant too.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 I saw Rob Brydon in Nottingham on Wednesday. He was pretty good; maybe not as enjoyable as his best TV stuff but a good show nonetheless
welck12 Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 I like you two I think when john cleese comes out and says hes the greatest comedian ever then that just sums up how brilliant he was
Guest Bilo Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Jimmy Carr Rhod Gilbert Michael McIntyre Gods of comedy.
Wycombe Fox Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Peter Kaye - I cry laughting at Phoenix Nights no matter how many times I watch the DVD, especially the one with re-opening day with the face-painting and Potter's Pink Paradise.
LeeCovFox Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Billy Connolly is the funniest man on the planet by a mile for me. I saw Jimmy Carr live recently was pleasantly surprised by how much me made me laugh, certainly funnier live than on television. Peter Kay is worth a shout, as are Bill Hicks (brilliant), Sean Lock, Frankie Boyle and Stewart Lee (also brilliant).

You're right, he is a hell of a lot funnier live than on TV.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Rich Hall, Lee Mack, Richard Pryor, Sean Lock, Tim Vine, Michael McIntyre (even if he's verging on overkill now), Jack Whitehall, Jason Manford etc, etc.
Tommeh Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Mark Watson Rich Hall Bill Bailey David Mitchell Michael McIntyre
StanSP Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 The favourite comedian i have worked with/seen would be Rich Hall, absolutely fooking brilliant.I'm seeing Jimmy Carr on Sunday so i'll see how i like that Stephen K Amos, Sean Lock, Jason Manford, Lee Evans, Jeremy Hardy, Andy Parsons, Ed Byrne and Mark Watson are all quite funny I watched him on Live at the Apollo and wasn't very keen on him. Voice was annoying. As for Jimmy Carr, you're in for a treat. Ruthless comedy at its best! Saw him in Oxford in November last year and loved every minute of it. My fave comedian though is either Jimmy or Lee Evans.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 No mention of the genius that is Eddie Izzard? Shame on you! Shame on you ALL! Harry Hill is very funny in stand-up too. Seen him 3 times at DMH. Ross Noble. Russell Howard.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 I watched him on Live at the Apollo and wasn't very keen on him. Voice was annoying. Anyone that says a bad word about Rich Hall is dead to me. ( )
Fosse Boy Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Frankie Boyle Rhys Darby Michael McIntyre Jim Jeffries Adam Hills Stephen K Amos Bill Hicks Ed Byrne Rich Hall Brendon Burns etc. Anyone heard of a Welsh comedian called Lloyd Langford? Saw him at Leeds Festival a couple of years ago. He was hilarious.
Guest Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 I saw Jimmy Carr live in Skegness of all places. You're right, he is a hell of a lot funnier live than on TV. He would only be funny if he had a particular style of ladies shoe sticking out of his stupid head.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Hmm good call! Love him. He's brilliant.
Corky Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 He would only be funny if he had a particular style of ladies shoe sticking out of his stupid head. Might improve his looks
AoWW Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Might improve his looks Would ruin a good pair of shoes, mind. In fairness, the sacrifice would be worth it.
JakeShingler Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Lee Evans Peter Kay Chubby Brown And the fat dark haired 1 who was at the Appolo
