Scow Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 The Scow and Cob shall be there. I believe we're getting the train for around 9am. Plenty of time to drink then.
leicesterseddon Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 you only had to look around you at mk dons to realise that 80% of our supporters are complete wankers to be honest. i accept that not everyone can afford to go to every away game etc. etc., but as some have pointed out, the discrepancy in demand between the more 'local'/'big' games and games such as this is an absolute joke really. it's justifiable on an individual basis, but for a whole fanbase i just don't buy it. that's why i would much prefer to achieve promotion in front of 2000 leicester fans (plus the ones in the home end ) at saarfend than infront of the 10,000 supporters who will suddenly wake up for the leeds game. this will sell out eventually but the fact that it's reached members, considering how small the allocation is, and given the potential importance in promotion, is shocking. oh well, it'll just be more fun for us who are making the trip

How the hell did these people get tickets ahead of P3 and members?
leftsideoverhere Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Wey hey! Good to see you got some in the end. Bet the nerves were settin in! You have no idea! Me to boss: "Sorry I can't concentrate on work this morning, I'm waiting for a phonecall." Boss: "Is someone poorly?" Me: "Not exactly"
Head Honcho Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 You have no idea! Me to boss: "Sorry I can't concentrate on work this morning, I'm waiting for a phonecall." Boss: "Is someone poorly?" Me: "Not exactly" Ha! I was in an early morning meeting yesterday and had to excuse myself so I could give the ticket office my details. I didn't expect the call before 9am.
BoneDog Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 This is how you can tell who is a true supporter. It's a life thing. 24/7
Sods Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 If it dosen't sell out today, i can get a ticket tommorro! Pay day baby.
lildave3 Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Went with Potter to get his tickets, place was deserted.
CosbehFox Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Bit poor ain't it? Just like 'Wall and Brizzle, I hope we somehow win promotion against Hereford knowing it will be celebrated by the people who have been there all year. Everyone has the same bleeding idea with Sarfend - a day trippers galore.

Everyone has the same bleeding idea with Sarfend - a day trippers galore. Praying the daytrippers/Mk army won't descend on Southend, but not too sure. Its a great stand and with our league position it'll be a discrace if the atmosphere isn't spot on. our best ends (faces, standing, atmosphere, etc.) this season have been Oldham and Orient for me. The only two which I'd class as great support.

Tommeh Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Cheltenham? Amazing day as a whole, but in the ground? Was only a few rows of us top left stood and the result helped and I seem to remember we were pretty quiet 1st half. But 2nd with left/right (only time I've really liked it) and goals flying in up our end we were good.
Head Honcho Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Just got a good deal (£50) on a city centre hotel so I'll now be staying in Hereford to celebrate our promotion
leftsideoverhere Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 This is how you can tell who is a true supporter. It's a life thing. 24/7 Yep. Left work early so I could walk to the ticket office and pick up the tickets. Yes, I knew they were there waiting but (a) I wanted to be sure and (b) I could hear them calling to me, I needed to see them, touch them, ... Er, obsessive? Me? No, guv, not me. Sane as they come. Can't wait for that Hereford train now.
Asha Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Ticket arrived. Blackfriars Terrace. And Fox Travel coach 4.
potter3 Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 400 left There was about 500 at the same time yesterday
C-man Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 There was about 500 at the same time yesterday Hugely embarrassing.
Bert Posted 2 April 2009 Author Posted 2 April 2009 Can people see why many get pissed off now? Can't even sell out to Hereford, when we're at the top of the league? Pah.
Daggers Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 We sat in front of a group of blokes at MK who didn't know any of the players names. How the hell did these people get tickets ahead of P3 and members? Our use of the the loan system and heavy pre-match drinking.

Home matches are looked forward to, but not with the same intensity as the away day. If it was Filbert Street it would get the same attention, but things just aint the same at home anymore It's all about the TOUR
