lou Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Leyton Orient down to 10 men...BUT Leyton Orient 2 - 2 Leeds United Wooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 If it stays at 2-2, that could really knock the stuffing out of Lids. 2-0 up against ten men with half an hour to go and leaving with a point is not good by any standards.

Even if they win, it will be a wake-up call for them. 2-0 up against ten men, taken their foot off the gas?
davieG Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Exactly! Theyre 2-1 up now .... Beckford gone off injured apparently. Delph just picked up his 5th booking (again) and will face a suspension but sadly not against us! Are you sure according to Sky Score Centre he's not even in the squad
Matt Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Right, I'm abit sick of discussing it, but its fascinating (Although I wish it could just be simple for Leicester for once) and I need to know, but does this result (Or even a loss preferably for Leeds, but unlikely) almost guarantee us a 3rd place finish, Not what we want but what i'm asking is, is it another place out of the question? And therefore only have to worry about and watch the one spot outside of the automatic places and team - Being Millwall?
lou Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Are you sure according to Sky Score Centre he's not even in the squad Sorry my bad........ hes out injured I didnt read my text properly
Pegosteve Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 11 points no chance of them catching us now. Not with only 15 points left to play for.
Matt Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 11 points no chance of them catching us now. Not with only 15 points left to play for. There is chance, Unlikely, but there is a chance. Leyton Orient 2 - 2 Leeds United. Full Time.
Corky Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 So if we win on Saturday that will still be at least 11 points with 12 to play for. Avoid defeat against Leeds and they can't catch us. Delighted with Orient, fantastic stuff.

And i'm just guessing, I haven't really got a scooby but IF Millwall lost on Saturday, and we win against both Hereford and Leeds, We might be promoted? Maybe, Hopefully...Please tell me this is right?
Pegosteve Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 There is chance, Unlikely, but there is a chance.Leyton Orient 2 - 2 Leeds United. Full Time. Only if you are a total pessamist!
Corky Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Only if you are a total pessamist! Partly, but don't rule anything out. Wait until it's mathematically impossible
Matt Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Only if you are a total pessamist! It comes with the territory of being a Leicester fan. It builds up something looks to be round the corner then it gets took away and we mess it up or make it harder for ourselves.
Bert Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 And i'm just guessing, I haven't really got a scooby but IF Millwall lost on Saturday, and we win against both Hereford and Leeds, We might be promoted? Maybe, Hopefully...Please tell me this is right? Not totally correct. Especialy seeing as they're playing on Friday! But: If we win our next two games Millwall have to drop points in one of their next two games. Remember they play Peterborough Monday night.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I think we will be officially promoted if we beat Hereford and Leeds, and Millwall fail to beat Peterborough. Whatever, it's very unlikely that Leeds will be able to catch us now, or even make us sweat. So another challenger for automatic promotion is pretty much ruled out, only Millwall can realistically stop us now. Thanks Orient!

So i'm right apart from the fact I got the day of their game wrong? So if Millwall got 4 points from their 2 games and we won both game we'll be up? Sorry abit slow when it comes to maths, takes abit of time to get through!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 So i'm right apart from the fact I got the day of their game wrong? So if Millwall got 4 points from their 2 games and we won both game we'll be up? Sorry abit slow when it comes to maths, takes abit of time to get through! That would put us on 89 and them on 80 with 3 games left so yes (goal difference). I can't see us beating Leeds to be honest but Saturday is now absolutely massive. I think. I should probably look at the table when working these things out but I believe it's ingrained on my membrane (post-edit anyway).
turkish14 Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Beat Hereford and leeds go can F**K themselves, 11 pts difference with 4 games left (with a substantial goal diffrence in our favour)we would have to lose every game and they win every game racking up cricket scores in the process good luck in the play offs leeds!
unreachable Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 So i'm right apart from the fact I got the day of their game wrong? So if Millwall got 4 points from their 2 games and we won both game we'll be up? Sorry abit slow when it comes to maths, takes abit of time to get through! Not correct. MK Dons can still achieve a maximum of 90 points. If we beat Hereford and Leeds we would only have 89 points and therefore Peterborough and MK Dons could beat us for maximum points.
purpleronnie Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Hopefully if we do get automatic promotion leeds will go up too.
Alf Bentley Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Leyton Orient 2 Leeds United 2 "Yorkshire Post": Leeds United threw away two priceless points as 10-man Leyton Orient fought back from two goals down to seal a 2-2 draw at Brisbane Road. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Looks like they're struggling to stay in the play-off places. S****horpe are only 5pts behind them with 2 games in hand - and Southend, well, the form they're in, looks like they could win the league! 7th place for Dirty Leeds...what a disappointment for them! (p.s. I wish!)
