Muz Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Leeds will not catch us. We just need to get to 90 points sharpish. We've been through the shit with this club but this is really taking the biscuit , we cant throw it away. 2 wins and a draw will be enough. I just really cant see where they're coming from
Salieri Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 They can at present get 89 points.I think it likely they will win all their games, their home form is excellent and they have orient, hartlepool and us to play away. The queston is can we get another 8 points personally on our curent form I think a maxmum of 5 is likely and that is optimistic. 88 points will not be enough to go up. They won't. Yes they're on good form but they've not suddenly become invincible. Just as we've not suddenly become a terrible team. We had more than enough chances to bury Carlisle yesterday but found their keeper in inspired form plus of course the dodgy nature of their equaliser. The negative vibes are pretty extreme at the moment but we've pulled unexpected results out of the bag many times this season (the win at Millwall most recently) and we'll do it again before the seasons finished. It's a shame it's coming down to the wire after leading so comfortably but that is the situation and we've just gotta deal with it, now isn't the time for moping and recriminations (there'll be plenty of that if we fook this up and rightly so!) I think we'll beat Hereford then go into the game against Leeds with renewed confidence. Should be a cracking atmosphere and we shouldn't be scared of them! We outplayed them at their place and were very unlucky not to get the three points. Our destiny is still very much in our own hands.

Bert Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 We'll beat Leeds. They'll come here on a such high and see we're not doing as well as we should be, underestimate us, and we'll turn them over.
Salieri Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 The only time I'd use the term "embarrassing" is if we didnt finish in the top two after the position we were in.
Brilliant White Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 We'll beat Leeds. They'll come here on a such high and see we're not doing as well as we should be, underestimate us, and we'll turn them over. This thread is hilarious
Corky Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 It's still possible, but if we beat them it will be very difficult for them to. Just get the 9 points needed and get this season over with.
Finnegan Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 This thread is hilarious Not as funny as the one linked at the start. Some of us (ahem ) might be feeling a little daft about comments made when P'boro thought they'd catch us. But you lot? I'm fairly confident I can say this without too much fear of being quoted on WACCOE at the end of the season - "jog on."

Not much worry of you being quoted mate, we will be too busy celebrating promotion! "jog on"?? how old are you then....? are you one of the brighter members of this board then? <_<

Fosse Boy Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 You must be trying to get your post count a little higher..... You dont seem to have typed anything mucker? I just find it a tad hilarious that you still think automatic promotion is on the cards.
Corky Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 What are these supporters of "Mighty" Leeds doing on the forum of our tinpot, lower-league club?
Finnegan Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 so you dont think we will cath you?Not much worry of you being quoted mate, we will be too busy celebrating promotion! "jog on"?? how old are you then....? are you one of the brighter members of this board then? <_< Twenty two and yes I'm a borderline MENSA, me. I'd be the jewel of your forum's crown but I'd hate having to dumb-down all my posts. You're banking on us losing a majority of our remaining games having only lost about four all season. A win somewhere and another bunch of draws will probably see us mathematically promoted. Millwall we might take the claim seriously from - you lot are just desperate. You always have been.
Ashley Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Remember guys Leeds United are MASSIVE, anything is possible with them.
Bremner Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 What are these supporters of "Mighty" Leeds doing on the forum of our tinpot, lower-league club? The same thing as the Leicester fans are doing on Waccoe
Finnegan Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 The same thing as the Leicester fans are doing on Waccoe Laughing at racists?
Fosse Boy Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 The same thing as the Leicester fans are doing on Waccoe Just remind us again, when were you champions of Europe? It's just the record books seem to indicate that you never were...
Messi Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I'm **** well depressed about the whole situation. I can literally feel all the positive vibes falling out of me. Totally Agree Although were still top, the games we have got are far from easy. We was 12points ahead and now its only 2points is a scary thought. Plus, if peterborough win on friday they will be top and were second, What a bad time in the season to have a bad run.
Corky Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 The same thing as the Leicester fans are doing on Waccoe Considering I don't ever go, or particularly want to either, on that site, I wouldn't know.
Alexikokopops Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 so you dont think we will cath you?Not much worry of you being quoted mate, we will be too busy celebrating promotion! "jog on"?? how old are you then....? are you one of the brighter members of this board then? <_< Neither do you by the looks of it personally i think you and P'boro will go up, don't know which order.... But i think its our turn for play off glory this season.
Brilliant White Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I just find it a tad hilarious that you still think automatic promotion is on the cards. like i find it hilarious that you was 12 points clear and now its 2 Just remind us again, when were you champions of Europe? It's just the record books seem to indicate that you never were... Just remind us again the last time you was in Europe? apart from your jollys that is....... 1997 i believe? 12 years ago same number of points you was clear by eh!
StanSP Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 like i find it hilarious that you was 12 points clear and now its 2Just remind us again the last time you was in Europe? apart from your jollys that is....... 1997 i believe? 12 years ago same number of points you was clear by eh! Yeah but we're still top. You will not get an automatic promo spot. Ask any fan in the league, apart from a Leeds fan, and they'll tell you the same thing.
Fosse Boy Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 like i find it hilarious that you was 12 points clear and now its 2Just remind us again the last time you was in Europe? apart from your jollys 1997 i believe? 12 years ago same number of points you was clear by eh! Fuck me, they can count to at least twelve in Leeds now. That's a display of intelligence almost on a par with the population of Twycross Zoo. Incidentally, it'll be at least another twelve months before you get yourselves out of this division. You're still a MASSIVE club though. Massive.
Maybes Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Leeds are massive like a wetherspoons farmhouse breakfast...MASSIVE.
