maddog Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 Absolutely no chance. If they did catch us though, at least we would be going wembley
Uncle Monty Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 I'm **** well depressed about the whole situation. I can literally feel all the positive vibes falling out of me.
lou Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 You cant really blame them..... 5 consequetive(sp) wins against us getting 5 points in 5 games makes me inclined to believe them
Katy Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 They can't even spell Leicester correctly I don't care about them, I care about us. It's our 1st place to fook up, and we're doing a cracking job of it at the moment.
Matt Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 I'd be gutted but not surprised. My opinion like anyone elses counts for nothing when it comes to results what happens happens you can't really predict it (Even more so when it comes to Leicester), but I had us down to lose to Leeds, lose or draw to Scunny and win every other game thus Peterborough overtaking us, but we drew (Nearly wrote lost, because thats what it feels like) today as I said my opinion counts for nothing and you never know we might beat Leeds and Scunny and todays result isn't too bad There seems to have been alot of disappointing results but we go into other games expecting not to get much and get a nice surprise. As I said in our current for I would be surprised at all should we finish 3rd, I want 1st spot (Obviously) so to say i'd be gutted and angry should we finish 3rd is a huge understatement. Earlier in the season I had some pride and passion back, In the last few weeks I am becoming a little embaressed at the fact we were 18 points ahead of second and we are throwing it away and our arse's are twitching! I am someone who thinks anyone deserves to beat anyone and I hate some of our fans opinions of "Ah it's only such and such, We're the mighty Leicester City once of Premiership fame, We'll beat these" but the fact we were so far ahead it shouldn't be like this, We should have had this league wrapped up end of Feburary, Certainly Mid-End of March.
Koke Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Millwall may catch us, but definitely not Leeds. They having a laugh.
J.Lisemore Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 All depends if they lose next saturday really.. We win - they lose, were 3 more points ahead of them. Think positive
Ford Super Sunday Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Like Lisseh said, next saturday is the key. I have already gone over what I think, and thats that Leeds, Southend and Scunny, with the form we are in, aren't looking too good at the moment. We are shocking, shite, poor. The whole situation is now getting me right down, even worse than in the week leading up to that Stoke game last season, becuase then, I really thought we would stay up. Now, with the run we have, I am utterly convinced that we will be caught, and it's goodnight seniorita to our promotion hopes. Laughing stock of the season, confidence shattered, team spirit on the floor, Fan spirit nosedives, finances up shit creek. I dont't even want to think about whats going on at the moment, it is so fecking depressing, it really is For me, promotion will come somply because everyone else ran out of games, more than anything. But we need to win at least one in order for that to be certain. Peterborough.... you can have the title, just beat millwall

No way are we handing the title over to those fools.
lavrentis Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I dont believe a word on WACCOE, so this is not gonna happen.
Babylon Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I think we need 5 points from the next 5 games to go up, surely even we can manage that in our current form!!! I really don't care about the title at this stage.
breadandcheese Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 We will go up in an automatic promotion spot. However, to limp home is embarrassing.
carterfox90 Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 i fear leeds have there tails up & are going for itstill angry after yesterday even though we played ok how we let them equalise is beyond me just sit back & let it happen
Salieri Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 i fear leeds have there tails up & are going for itstill angry after yesterday even though we played ok how we let them equalise is beyond me just sit back & let it happen Me too! Thought I might somehow feel better about things but seem to feel more pissed off today and reading those comments on waccoe hasn't done much to improve my mood! Leeds have hit top form at the right time but I think they've left themselves just a bit too much to do to catch us thankfully. I think we'll limp home and finish second, I can see Millwall and the Dons dropping points which wil enable us to finish 2nd without getting a big return of points from our remaining games. Having said all of this, a win away at Hereford on Saturday and i'm sure i'll be banging on about how we're gonna win the title!
reynard Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 They can at present get 89 points. I think it likely they will win all their games, their home form is excellent and they have orient, hartlepool and us to play away. The queston is can we get another 8 points personally on our curent form I think a maxmum of 5 is likely and that is optimistic. 88 points will not be enough to go up.
