I prefer Morrison....

I don't think he gets enough credit. He's a young lad who's stepped up from the Conference to playing in front of 20,000 plus. I think he could develop into a lynchpin of our team for many years.

If Gilbert is out, I'd play Morrison at right-back (I think he adapts to it better than Hobbs and can't see Edworthy being anywhere near the team). If Gilbert is fit, I'd restore the Hobbs Morrison partnership.

I dont. Morrison fills me with no confidence at all , I shit myself everytime the ball goes near him. I'd much rather have Kisnorbo or Brown over him.

to Kisnorbo or Brown.

I thought Brown when he came on yesterday was great. And he was ordering people about and telling them where to go. Thought he did a great job. He seems to be one of the old fashioned type no nonsense Centre Backs that used to be around.

This season has been perfect for Morrison.

His first season in league football. League One is quite a physical league too, and this will help him no end. He hasn't played every game, which will keep his feet on the ground. When he's played the majority of the time he's been dependable, but he has made a few howlers. This is only down to in-experience though. Pearson has done a good job in nurturing him, and in a few seasons he'll be a good centre back, as to the average centre back he is now.

I think we lack organisation the the back when Kisnorbo Plays.

Well as long as we don't keep him if we go up. Too slow, easily turned and like Kisnorbo.

I thought they were worlds apart yesterday. Skip looked tired and unfit, struggled to keep up with the centre forward and likely to give away fouls. Brown looked like he was trying to instill some steel into the back line, and be a calming and experienced influence on Hobbs and Mattock.

So do I.

What was the point in Pearson changing the defence when there was nothing wrong? In fact, that disrupted the defence and may have an impact to our current results.

Everytime Kisnorbo comes back in we struggle.

Kisnorbo and Hobbs both play on the left and it isn't the same when Hobbs plays on the right.

I felt the same at the start of the season but from what I've seen he has improved a lot over the course of the season, and could well become a valuable asset fairly soon.. would like to see what Kis and Tunch can pull off though.

I prefer anything to Kisnorbo: Morrison, Brown, a kipper fillet.

Anything.

Our defence is not a cohesive unit with him playing and he is the one player left in the squad who is just too used to losing. It crosses threads - Kisnorbo by himself is not a bad player, but like DJ he is not our player. He is the wrong jigsaw piece, he is a bit with pictures of puppies on and two sticky out and two sticky in sides whereas we need a piece with sky on it and two flat edges.

I think Kisnorbos getting a bit of unfair stick..... hes been off so long with injuries its going to take time for him to get back to his best. He was one of our better players last season (if not the best) its not his fault hes come back at a very difficult point in the season and our form was poor before he came back. I do think we should have left him on the bench for the rest of this season though and give him a full pre season to prepare for next.

I thought Hobbs was worse yesterday too.

Good stuff you're smoking today, Daggers. Can you share?

Didn't you notice Gilbert lying prone on the floor for about 5 minutes after the first half whistle went? It wasn't hard to miss, they even brought the stretcher on (which thankfully he didn't need)

think he meant recalling Kisnorbo at Peterborough

I've not seen any away games this season but whenever I've seen Morrison I've always been quite impressed. Doesn't do anything apart from the standard defending stuff, doesn't think he's anything special, just wins it and gives it to theboys in midfield. That said I still prefer the brick outhouse style and experience of Brown.

Bear in mind he played every minute of every game in Hull's promotion season, which you don't do unless you're solid & dependable. Or blowing the manager.

Clemence was a star for Brum's promotion season, he was still wank for us, granted injuries probably affected his performance
