Bank Holiday Monday.

Biggest attendence of the season.

A win COULD promote us Monday evening, and effectively end Leeds's automatic promotion hopes.

As games go this season, they don't come much more exciting than this.

The atmosphere has been shite at the Walkers this season, but i'm pretty certain it will be fairly decent on Monday.

It's simple, IF WE WIN, and Mk Dons DON'T WIN against Bristol Rovers we will be up by 5pm on Monday.

Monday's game is going to come down to two players...Howard and Becchio.

Remember the egg chasers are on our pitch today and its very likely that on monday the pitch wont be best suited to passing football. Therefore, the target men will be very important on monday!!

Hopefully, with no Beckford they wont have a chance against us :fc:

I have a good feeling about the game on Monday. Leeds need a result more than we do to keep their hopes of automatic promotion alive, whereas ours is all but sealed. Teams that have tried to attack us at home have tended to come off worse and confidence in the Leicester camp must now be sky high. It won't be another Peterborough at home, but I can see a win.

1-0 Leicester.

MK Dons will draw with Bristol Rovers and Millwall will draw with Posh. Promoted by tea-time, Champions by this time next week. :scarf:

We will win this game now.

I said before a win today would see us win on Monday.

The momentum will see us through. Monday cannot come soon enough.

We have one foot through the promotion door, on Monday we will see this out.

Becchio went off injured for them today....would be good if both him and Beckford were out. Laughing at the poster on Waccoe who claims we'll play for a draw just so Leeds can't catch us..

With Howard back and his scoring boots on (never thought I'd be saying that 8 months ago!) and with them missing a couple I fancy us to nick it.

Didn't someone say somewhere else that he was banned for two games after Monday? :dunno:

Also on WACCOE they seem to think Beckford is being brought back gently and Grayson will have him examined tomo. and Monday morning. If he is not 100% he won't be risked as they want him fir for the PO's

They also think Beckford has fallen out with Grayson.

And that Becchio slagged him off during today's game which is why he was substituted.

It doesn't really matter, because at the end of the day (Monday), Leeds will have lost and we will be promoted.

After 2day i'm cautiously confident

leeds will need the win tho and come at us which will work in our favour.

Remember the last two matches when the visitors came and really took the game to us.

December 22nd 2008 leicester 4-0 peterboro

January 24th 2009 leicester 4-2 huddersfield

don't think we'll score that many tho or win by as many as the peterboro game

3-1 city to win
