Hereford Post Match

I was trying to think of something witty to them as they were mighty fit but would have probably ended up getting arrested!! What a cracking day great beer, great result - such tension and then the release - Brown despite being a hoofer had everything under control at the back, Andy King should sue the ref for accusing him of cheating and Pearson should play Oakley in the middle with King - what is the point of Berner??

Dyer was just awesome as was Maxi's run - Mattock had some dodgy momemts but fought back well in the second half. Don't think I am tempting fate but boys we are up!!!

:chant:

I was on the coach when I noticed them.

Went for the textbook 'call me' signal.

The build-up to Hereford was already promising enough. As soon as we crossed Worcester, pure magic sunshine.

What a day out, what a game, what a result.

Although the first half was just a pure annoyance, even the first 20 in the second were more or less uneventful.

Gradel changed it all, brought speed and danger on the right flank (where he started out at first).

Brown a brick in the defensive wall - won like 99% of all headers and ground battles.

The peno in the first for Hereford - a total nuisance and Mattock's foul was absolutely unnecessary. The Bulls looked nothing like threatening up to that point. Neither were we, but luckily enough, Oakley came up with a quick equalizer.

Second half - oh boy, I've hardly ever been at a match where the tension was so present like today. Up to the 70th minute, it could've gone either way. Dyer's goal, a pure relief. You could sense what it triggered in the Leicester crowd. It all came out. Finally broke that deadlock.

And I salute Gradel for coming up with that lovely move on the right, setting up Howard for the third and last. Need to see the replay of that one - like Daggers said, pure sex.

MOTM: Dyer - worked his socks off on the left and topped his efforts with the breaking goal

And to Hereford: Luvely town, given there's sunshine around.

Beautifully put - only downer was some utter tool in the first half who proclaimed everything we did was 'crap' or 's*it'. TBH, they aren't many teams who by 3 or 4 at this point of the season (except those playing Cov).

After our initial spell of pressure in the second half, there was about five minutes where it went all quiet and everyone's nerves were kicking in. Then wallop a lovely scramble, Dyer hits it, I jump and my mate whacks his head on a pillar. Then Gradel and Howard put the icing on.

That's it - we're nearly there.

Not the best of grounds but scores heavily on location. I'd take that over any S****horpe or Northampton.

****ing brilliant day. Been awake since 8am on Friday, got to Spoons today for opening time on the back of an all-nighter and started straight on the doubles. Nearly passed out in the car but held it together and got treated to some quality banter, an absolutely MENTAL celebration for Lloyd's goal and a great day out in general. Taylor got slaughtered but took it brilliantly. Max was God-like in setting up Steve (AUDACIOUS effort on the chip, btw!). Also got to help prevent Cobbo having a fight lol!

Cheltenham fan was quality, 'nuff luv and respect for the fence-dancing antics :P

Pearson's fist-pumping at the end of the game just signified how important that win is to everybody involved with the club. Awesome.

Bollocks.

You could've started drinking last Wednesday and you'd still not be as drunk as Cobbo.

Cobbo is Bernie-drunk.

Cobbo is Bernie-drunk.

If he is Bernie-drunk then I am nowhere near that state at all.

Is Cobbo going to see another day in that case?

Would just like to take the time to thx all you LCFC fans for making me welcome today

Now i turned up at peterborough yesterday to hear the the legend that is JOBBER was there to cheer cheltenham on i couldnt wait to meet him. Hes a great guy he was telling me storys of how you have started singing chelt songs at LCFC and how you want to arrange a pre season freindly with us (MAKE IT HAPPEN) We had a great time there and then he points out that there were more LCFC fans there. I cant thx you enough for turning up :)

You all no the story we drew 1-1 with peterborough and did you a favor ;)

Now before i left i told jobber he would be seeing me at a LCFC match in the future and he said he couldnt wait to c me.

Anyway i got home and went on the facebook page a chelt fan set up for LCFC fans and Chelt fans. I couldnt belive my eyes wen i got on there a lad was saying he had a spare ticket for today match so i had to snap it up. I contacted him and he said he would come down to chelt then we would go watch it. I actully couldnt sleep last nyt was like a little kid in a candy shop :)

I get the text this morning to say im on my way so i ran to my draw and put my chelt shirt on cus of the storys jobber had told me how you love chelt:)

We got to hereford and went straight in the pub. Now hereford being are local rivals i was abit worried bout taking off my jacket cus i was wearing a chelt shirt lol. Couple of drinks in had loads of LCFC fans telling me to take it off so i did(Big cheer as i took it off) Had a great laugh in the pub about how crap chelt are lmao:)

Got to ground and just thort im hear for the same reason you are to cheer the Champions

Couple of people gave me funny looks and some comments until this LCFC fan stuck up for me explaining some LCFC fans went to brough and i was returning the favor

I was over welmed by people shaking my hand and saying "Fair play lad"

Had a brilliant day today makes a change going away and watching a team win LMAO

So thank you LCFC for welcoming me and actully letting me see a win haha

Nice to meet the pair of you

The Barrels was a quality pub. My lad is going on about coming to Southend - but he isn't. He fell asleep on the way home from Leicester, I'm not having him kip on the back of a bike coming up the M11! :D

don't give him so much beer next time
