flanimal Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 John Joe O'toole anyone?Watford don't seem to fancy him that much, sent him out on loan and I'm sure we might get him for 750k-1m, goalscoring midfielder, might gel well with Kingy? If anything we need a defensive midfielder. There is no one in the midfield to snap at the ball. Cleverly was OK at that, but otherwise, we'll lose possession too easily.
Granno Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 I think I signed him on FM onceJust needed to get that off my chest Was he good though, that's what we all need to know
Big Ol' Bob Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Freddie Sears. I've got a mate who supports west ham and he said that Zola has stated that Sears will be allowed to leave to a championship club next season in order to get him some first team experience. Apparently Coventry and Watford have been looking at him already for next season. I reckon he would be a decent player for us.
The Doctor Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Mentioned in the mirror about a move for cox again today. WBA were also mentioned. Apparently the Swindon manager has said that Cox will be leaving this summer.
Joe. Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 If we go anywhere near Dele Adebola I'll lose all faith/confidence/respect for Nigel Pearson.
lildave3 Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 David Marshall please. He'd be one of the last keepers i'd want here - he doesn't command his area at all, doesn't catch a thing. He's a good shot stopper thought, but you need more than that to succeed, imo.Norwich fans want to see the back of him as well, cost them a lot of points this year, apparently.. Gone to Cardiff.
i luv u foxes Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 dont know if its been mentioned yet but how about ryan smith had him a couple years aga and was good in my opinion think southampton have released him ?????
liamherbertlcfc Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 cameron jerome would be a good target man if not needed by birmingham?
blueoveru Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 cameron jerome would be a good target man if not needed by birmingham? We still urgently need a midfield playmaker ....would have loved to have kept Davies .
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 We still urgently need a midfield playmaker ....would have loved to have kept Davies . He made the team function, for sure. Oakley is OK, but Davies was so much more dangerous. Pearson found a player like him once, he can do it again. Who knows, maybe somewhere in Kazakhstan there is a gifted midfield playmaker just yearning for a chance to play in Leicester, who will be available for £50 and a crate of man-kinis.

Yeah Steve Walsh (scout) saw some guy called Bruno when he went there.
Brainy Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 cameron jerome would be a good target man if not needed by birmingham? He wants 20k to stay at Birmingham
ousefox Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Watching the FA trophy today, Steve Morison at Stevenage really impressed me. I went to the game and he was much better than any other player on the pitch. People are saying he is going to Milwall though.
ha77y Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 i still think if we could get akinfenwa from northampton probably cheaper now they are in league 2. also a midfielder with the attacking that king can show but can also defend as i dont think king will be able to cope in the championship as he doesnt have the best strength or takling ability that we will need.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I sitll want Henri Camara. And Derek Riordan.
General Smuts Posted 14 May 2009 Author Posted 14 May 2009 Leroy Lita/Nathan Ellington/Henri Camera. Any of the above to pair up with Cox.
FoxesFan123 Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Why does everyone want more strikers? Fryatt, Howard, Cox and Dickov will be enough. OK he was useless, but people seem to forget Dickov will still be here. And we also have an abundance of young strikers, maybe its time for one of them to be given more of a chance.
FleckneyFox Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...pur/8050002.stm We were linked a few weeks back, could be us?

If Cox does sign, we'll have: - Cox - Fryatt - Howard - Dickov - Chambers If N'Guessan signs you can put him there as well, as I'm pretty sure Lincoln played him upfront a few times. But, it means we don't have a target man. Cox is out-an-out forward, Fryatt is more of a link man, Dickov - well, he's just a make-shifter, Chambers inexperienced. We need one more striker, who is Howard-like. Unless N'Guessan can win headed.
samjohnson Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Ive heard somewhere that Leicester are intrested in Lee Hughes, the drunk bald one from Oldham. Anyone else heard this or is it just plain bullcrap?? Thanks
