Ozwin Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Obviously bullshit but a friend of a friend has on his Facebook status that a £3m bid for Heskey was accepted but he wouldn't accept a wage cut. Can't be true since he'd be lessening his chances of going to the World Cup and he only joined Villa 6 months ago.

What a rip-off that would be.
Samilktray Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 £3 million. What a rip off for an England international.
Fox92 Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Just saw on SSN that Birmingham are listening for offers for Marcus Bent and Gary Mcsheffrey.I would take both of them. Bent is most probably past it but is a fairly big man. Probably take him on loan. Love Gary McSheffery though.
Ozwin Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 The Star is saying that he's asking for £500k for McSheffery, that'd be a steal.
Mort Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 The Star is saying that he's asking for £500k for McSheffery, that'd be a steal. Agreed...
morris1234 Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 the second signing i said i wanted, wellens and gallagher. nice!
Toby or not Toby Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 The Star is saying that he's asking for £500k for McSheffery, that'd be a steal. Bargain, wouldn't mind him, can also play left midfield
StanSP Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Liverpool youngster Nemeth has gone on loan to Greek side AEK Athens. Think we could have done with him. BUT, we've done well in getting Gallagher. How long do we have him for?

StanSP Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Is Nathan Blake still playing? He could do a job http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Blake#Later_career. He could do a job. But only at running his own property management company in Wales .
David Guiza Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Ipswich transfer listed Stead, Garvan and Quinn i think the other was according to bbc gossip. I know we have signed 2 more forwards but i would love Stead here .

I know we have signed 2 more forwards but i would love Stead here . Yeah Keane's well annoyed at all of his players . Wouldn't mind Stead. If we didn't have Wellens, Garvan would be good.
Ozwin Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Roy Keane must've been one lucky bastard getting Sunderland promoted.
AjcW Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Yeah Keane's well annoyed at all of his players .Wouldn't mind Stead. If we didn't have Wellens, Garvan would be good. He transder listen Garvan and Quinn!! That man is a fucking jokeof a "Manager" Well if we could get them it would be nice. Newcastle have been after garvan forever though so he might go there.
StanSP Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 He'll transfer some more players too...not just those three.
AjcW Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Former England Under-21 international striker Jon Stead is one of three players transfer-listed by new Ipswich boss Roy Keane. The others are the midfield pair Alan Quinn and Owen Garvan. Following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion, Keane said: “These players will never play for me again. Enough is enough.” Seriously what the hell, does he even have a tiny clue about football management.
Samilktray Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 He won pretty much everything there is to win at club level, captained the best side in England.... but hasnt got a clue about football.

Jimmy Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 He won pretty much everything there is to win at club level, captained the best side in England.... but hasnt got a clue about football. just because your a good player doesn't mean you know anything about how to manage players
Samilktray Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Seriously what the hell, does he even have a tiny clue about football. Make it clearer next time then
AjcW Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Make it clearer next time then sorry, posted it to quick, ill edit now. I just think a decision like that is enough to disrupt the whole squad, sure fine them and make them train extra but shipping all three out..

He's panicking. Clearly feels under pressure by the board and doesn't want to get sacked so early into this season.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 At Keane when he only has a reasonable amount to spend.
