morris1234 Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Franco Di Santo and the Duke.Big Sam knows whats up. thats good though, more strikers for them opens up the chance for gallagher to be brought in.
Foxestalc Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Just on the radio, nugents been scrapping with a Portsmouth team mate. Any chance of snapping him up? On loan? Portsmouth seem desperate to offload anyone they can at the moment, and he's hardly set the premiership alight. Spose if he did drop down, much more likely to head back to Preston

They've got a tiny squad. I read on here somewhere they only have 14/15 outfield players?!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Lee Trundle - Worth a punt as back up? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5474394,00.html
pibz Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 I think we may well get players on loan from the "big 4". worth a try
Jimmy Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Wes Hoolahan - give Dyer some much needed competition
General Smuts Posted 10 August 2009 Author Posted 10 August 2009 Wes Hoolahan - give Dyer some much needed competition On the strength of Adams performance in the 2nd half, he already has. And O'Neil has said he won't be loaning Delfoueneso out.
Leicester-Fox Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Anyone else think Lee Trundle could be a good signing? Sky Sports.. 5.58 Bristol City striker Lee Trundle has revealed that no offers have come his way yet, but that he would prefer to stay in the Championship if possible.

Guest Bilo Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 In a word NO!!Overated, overweight and over the hill This. I might have taken him two or three years ago, but he really hasn't done a thing since leaving Swansea.
Matt Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Another one of those a few years ago, Yes, but now, No.
jonw88 Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Rickie Lambert signed for Southampton for £1m+, strange transfer really, where did they suddenly get this money from, and why has he chosen to go to a club in the same league who might well get relegated? Surely championship clubs like us were interested in him, would have been a good buy for us as backup for howard but we've missed our chance now.

Jimmy Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Febian Brandy - Manchester United (loan) wouldn't be the worst idea
Bryn Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Jay Emmanuel Thomas is going to Blackpool on loan, surprised we didn't take a look, one of the best players in their academy.
Mort Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Jay Emmanuel Thomas is going to Blackpool on loan, surprised we didn't take a look, one of the best players in their academy. tbh the lack of loan signings so far has been a bit of a surprise - esspeically after the importance of loanees to us last season. It may be that the difference with last season is that those players loaned out to Championship teams are closer to the first team at their club and so it'll only be after the first couple of games that they begin to be shipped out on loan, where as if a prem team is loaning a player out to a League One club that player is less likley to be in the running to play in the first team and so gets loaned out earlier in the season.
Toby or not Toby Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 Febian Brandy - Manchester United (loan) wouldn't be the worst idea Please
Soar Fox Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Just saw on SSN that Birmingham are listening for offers for Marcus Bent and Gary Mcsheffrey. I would take both of them.
