AjcW Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 deceiving.Sorry I don't actually comment on errors but that just stood out . Good news if this is true, and I don't see why it wouldn't be. mate i didnt even notice that, thats a shocking error . I miss my automatic spell check on the mac.
Jay Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Hes clearly deluded! We should let the tribunal sort it - Im sure they wont make us pay anything like that amount! I just hope he turns out to be worth all this hassle of course they wont this idiot of a chairman is obviously forgetting that a tribunal for an out of contract player has nothing to do with the actual marketable value of a player but is to compensate them for the expenses of developing the player as he didn't come through the youth team and has only been at Lincoln 2 full seasons it will be next to nothing!!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Reminds me of whan Nottingham Forest wanted the tribunal to make us to pay £3m for Gareth Willliams
Babylon Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Reminds me of whan Nottingham Forest wanted the tribunal to make us to pay £3m for Gareth Willliams    £5m get it right!!! ha.

The Doctor Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 £5m get it right!!! ha. didn't we end up having to pay bout 1/2 a mill for him instead?
flanimal Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 N'Guessan isn't Crouch-esque, he's big but he's pretty muscular. Whenever I watch Crouch play, I always feel his legs are going to snap or something! If it went to tribunal, what do you guys think the total fee would be? £100,000 ish?
Part Of The Crowd Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 We offered £175k in January and it wasn't accepted so I'd assume they'd want more than £100k by tribunal
dandannieldanok Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 We offered £175k in January and it wasn't accepted so I'd assume they'd want more than £100k by tribunal I'm sure they would want more, but if the tribunal decision is £100,000, then that's final.
Leicfox Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 N`Guessan - Steff & Milan to Dance The Dance After what seems an eternity Leicester City will beat, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, MK Dons and a posse of clubs to the signature of Dany N`Guessan. La Fusée Rouge`s desire to play Championship football also saw several League 1 clubs and Peterborough blown away by the facilities, ambition and potential of the Foxes. With personal terms agreed, Milan Mandaric will return from holiday and seal a six-figure deal for the Frenchman heading off a post tribunal free for all. Imp supremo, Steff Wright has all but sealed the deal already whilst millionaire Milan enjoyed a working holiday. The £400,000 price tags is way off, with a six-figure down payment plus appearance trigger and sell on clause believed to please all parties. Dany and his agent will of course just want the lad to play, something that all avid Youtube viewers were able to enjoy last Christmas, as a curious compilation appeared slap bang in the middle of the transfer window. http://www.lincoln.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=156941

DanTheFox07 Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 The latest article on this on the bbc sport website suggests this deal could be done very soon.

SMX11 Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 "The Leicester chief executive is there and it may get done over a couple of pints, you never know." hopefully the chief exec doesn't get too drunk, we dont wanna be paying over the odds.
leicesterseddon Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 He will be a quality addition if he signs. Let's face it, he's a young signing from the Fourth Division. He could be the next big thing or a crock of shite. I've got faith in Pearson to sign good players after last summer, but after the rubbish that's come through our club in the last few years, I think I'll wait and see before reserving judgement on this one...

OK to wait and see, we all do that pretty well every time a new player is brought in. I cannot understand however what crap players brought in by managers before Pearson came, has got to do with making judgements on players brought in by Pearson. All managers make mistakes including Ferguson and Wenger, but I don't think our manager has made one yet!

Lillehamring Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 didn't cost us much but the jury's out on Nicky Adams as far as I'm concerned he hasn't really been involved, so i wouldn't exactly put him in the junior lewis/josh low class of sinings
