Tomassi Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 from that clip im loving how direct N'Guessen is!!! has Nige unearthed a gem???
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Doubt Fryatt could score goals like those. He did it twice, obviously he ain't flukey.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Cheers Knowitall. You are a legend. I just hope we get cover for Howard.
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I very much like the prospect of seeing both play in the new kit in August. Both Cox and N'Guessan offer a tremendous amount of speed and I guess that's probably the only thing we were actually lacking (not to say Dyer, Gradel or Gilbert can't be quick). Add some impressive scoring (Cox) and technical (N'Guessan) skills to the mix, and we've got ourselves a few winners. N'Guessan's attitude issues or lazy-arse phases are going to be a real challenge for Pearson, but I'm confident he'll sort it out. As for Cox, pray to the almighty Thracian he won't suffer from injuries whilst being with us. : In addition to these signings: Yes, another right back maybe. And a reliable, longer-serving goalie for once, please. Turnbull would do just nicely.
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 On the other hand i'd take a League 2 winger over Gradel any day. Gradel will lead us to the Premiership one day.
MarkDeVries Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I think I just creamed myself Only joking, great news Thanks knowitall
Babylon Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Cheers Knowitall. You are a legend. I just hope we get cover for Howard. Sod cover, I want players better than we already have!!
foxoffderby Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Martin O'Neill signed Lennon when he was a third tier division midfielder. Izzet a perpetual reserve guy. It's about ability, the division means nothing. spot on totally agree great news
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 If Knowitall is correct, and those signings are likely to be successful, then I think we only need: - creative midfield player, good passer, playmaker etc - defensive, dogged ball-winning midfielder - goalkeeper (maybe a loan would do) - right-back (although Morrison is pretty decent) - big target man - Howard-esque, the quicker the better
Joe. Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 N'Guessan and Max are blatantly going to fall in love with each other.
Calum McDermott Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I'm really surpised. I thought that Cox would just end up going to West Brom or someone else. I thought it was just one of the various rumours. Great News.
daveyboy Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 N'Guessan and Max are blatantly going to fall in love with each other. Think of the children...
Guest Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Think of the children... I wouldn't think they could have children, unless there's something I don't know
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 N'Guessan and Max are blatantly going to fall in love with each other. They're actually brothers, separated at a young age. A little bit more French flair in the streets of Leicester, brilliant.

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Already excited about next season now!! Feck it "Were gonna win the league!!.......Maybe
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 agreed would like another striker on top of cox, maybe somebody who could play in the hole. somebody with a trick a commons at derby/brechio type if leeds dont go up.... Becchio was shit when he played at the Walkers. N'Guessan can play as a striker, I found that out. So, that's kind of backup. I think would make a good player to play in the gap, he's got some skills, some cunning. I think a player who is a big, tough, no bullshit badass is what we need. A sort of Duncan Ferguson kind of player - you know what I mean.
potter3 Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Good to know, thanks knowitall Cautiously excited about Cox, don't know much about N'Guessan, except he's big and fast, which is never a bad thing.
teblin Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I heard a the sprts news at 6pm tonight and it also mentioned a keeper from bristol city but not basso.
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I heard a the sprts news at 6pm tonight and it also mentioned a keeper from bristol city but not basso. What was that?
Ozwin Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I am absolutely ecstatic about this! Our squad is going to ****ing immense next season with 1 or 2 more additions.
Lillehamring Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Sod cover, I want players better than we already have!! er... This.

Apart from that your spot on.

Gradel is from the Ivory Coast, but French is the main language there, right? Now all we need is another Bulgarian to understand Tunchev... and another Geordie to understand Howard.
