RowlattsFox Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 I'm usually really bad but I've not suffered too much so far this year, even though I've not always taken my tablet. I've probably just jinxed it now and will suffer terribly for the rest of the summer.
J.Lisemore Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 I've been so bad today its unreal. Took a tablet and even that didnt work. Dripping.
James. Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Mine really does appear to have just gone this year. I have barely suffered at all.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 It's just not good. Felt like crap now for 3 weeks. Eyes itching, Nose running, sneezing every 30 seconds and my throat feels like i've been chowing down on a glass vase. Anyone else the same, and what tablets or remedies do those of you suffering recommend? (....apart from local honey)
Daggers Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Pull yourself together. I'd offer some other, more constructive advice, but I only opted for the "free trial" advice selection - I don't get any other more pithy or pertinant phrases until I subscribe, and I simply refuse to do that. I haven't tried any sympathy apps yet either. When a decent one is released I may feel inclined to push a virtual button and post the response here. All I can suggest is that you try to take your mind off the whole thing by making a life-size model of Susan Boyle out of unused cutlery and a collection of old delivery curry containers.
Libertine Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Driving me mad currently. Only going to get worse too.
Edmund Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Mine was a lot worst a few weeks back. I find mornings are hell. Usually congested. Once drained all good. Best bet mate is if use clarityn and there not doing the job go see your doc and get prescribed for 10mg or 20mg tabs. The 20mg are danger though. You drink with those and it sends you awol.
Daggers Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 I don't understand. Once upon a time, one in thousands you met had hayfever or other allergies - nowadays, everyone seems to be allergic to something or everything. Why?
Darkzzz_ Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 I get it every two years strangely and this is one of those years. Damn thing!!

dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Fortunately I seem to have evaded it for now, doubt that will last for much longer though.
Guest Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Seriously, I am more fed up with merging hayfever threads. USE THE FORKING SEARCH FUNCTION!!! Do you not think that in the 5 years that this forum has been running, you are the one and only sufferer on this forum!! Moderating is seriously denting my tinternet browsing time.

Teece Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Cetirizine tablets, Sodium Cromoglicate eye drops, Beclometasone nasal spray, smear vaseline inside your nostrils, wear sunglasses, try to keep windows shut , dry your washing indoors not on washing line
Babylon Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 I've taken some green tea tablets along with my usual pills and i'm feeling ok. Running nose now and again but that's it so far.
BlabyFox Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Had it very badly today biking around Rutland water. Sneezing fits galore and that wonderful feeling of snot dripping out your nose like a tap as you bend over to tie your shoes!
Matt Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 My eyes are starting to itch now, been out in the garden all day.
