StanSP Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Apparently Football Manager teenage superstar Nicolas Millan is on his way to Everton. As is Tim Cahill's best mate, Lucas Neill

Just about to put this myself untill I saw you've posted already! http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,1...1800678,00.html Awesome signing. Would have taken him in this division any day.
Father Ted Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 The winter transfer window is coming up. Wigan have signed Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic. Latics sign Stojkovic He really is a quality goalkeeper, he is flamboyant and agile. I can even see him nicking Chris Kirkland's first team place.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 No reason why he can't. Hmmm let see, Isn't their keeper in the england squad by any chance ? Isn't he been proven as a good premiership goalkeeper ? I think a village is missing their idiot.

MC Prussian Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 I can't see Stojkovic making it big in England - at least not for now. He was simply loaned out to replace African Nations-bound Kingson as temporary back-up. Also, if he were so good, why has he been regularely shifted from one Spanish/Portuguese club to another? And, above all, the lad hasn't played a competitive league game in half a year (or more).

MC Prussian Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 yes but he's Serbian, therefore, in Father Ted's eyes, he's the best goalkeeper in the world Which would be like me claiming Pascal Zuberbuhler was the best Swiss goalkeeper in the world. Last time I checked, he was a regular bench-warmer for Fulham.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Chris Kirkland should be ahead of one or two of the names listed as England hopefuls, in honesty. Easily better than Foster, James, maybe Robinson. Joe Hart should really be given a fair go ahead of South Africa, excelling at Birmingham.
Jimmy Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 If Kirkland hadn't suffered the injuries he had, he'd probably of been Liverpool's no1 before Reina signed and been England No1 instead of Robinson, he is still 1 of the better keepers in the Premier League, he just has a serious problem with his back
Asha Posted 31 December 2009 Posted 31 December 2009 Yes, because top class keepers concede 9 in a league game.

I'm not saying he's amazing. I'm just saying that there is a chance that he could be a success. And of course, he has never conceded 9 goals in a match, possibly not even 5.
Budweiser Posted 31 December 2009 Posted 31 December 2009 Yes, because top class keepers concede 9 in a league game. Oh yeh it was completely his fault you fooking idiot. Did you actually watch the game? The 10 outfield players were shite and it was clearly their fault.

I was clearly being sarcastic, but hey it would be YOU that would jump at the chance to get one over, eh.
