DB11 Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Can I vote cos I'm the ref? If so, I thought Mikey was good. If not - sorry!
Mikey Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Bert. Awesome. Very closely followed by JME and Cat Burger and Shingler.
Darkzzz_ Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Sticking to my own team and going for Maybes, we need to win something. Would have been Bert otherwise.
Bakey Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Joe, the unsung hero for team E. Was solid throughout and tracked back on every occasion.
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 It's a tough call because you only see each player for a very tired 12 minutes in which you're trying to not fall over just as much as you're watching the opposition. Shingler and Bert looked class but that's ultimately made easier when playing for a good side. I thought LD3 looked quality with the ball at his feet and easily stood out in that side. I'd probably vote for Nathko, though. Probably a touch of bias but we'd have been even worse than we were without him. Very hard to stand out when you lose or draw all of your games but most we looked a lot more confident when he was on the ball. Class first outting for a Foxes Talk team.
lildave3 Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 My vote goes to Cat Burger. Whenever I got to see the whites play, he seemed to be running the show.
Tevez Posted 14 June 2009 Author Posted 14 June 2009 My vote goes to Cat Burger.Whenever I got to see the whites play, he seemed to be running the show. I echo this. Good player, him and Jamie were not nice to play against.
Darkzzz_ Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Ah, cheers Finners. Your right it is difficult to choose from a very limited amount of time watching the games. Was hoping to see your rifle of a finish on one of those videos.

Joe. Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 I'll go for Bert for his 8 goals. However, lildave's finishing was also class yesterday.
Tommeh Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Ryan (Cat Burger) used to playing with him at Lutterworth, absolute pig playing against him here.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Bert is horrible to defend against. His runs and positioning are too good. Cat Burger is just quality, and every time Tommeh got the ball in our first game I shat myself.
Granno Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Bert for me. Many challengers though, Shingler, Sparky et al.
Cat Burger Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 The dust has settled and I'm going to withdraw my early Shingler vote and go with Mikey he's a 'hot prospect for the future'. Tom, you are up there with him but no way can I bring myself to vote for a yellow
potter3 Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 As mcuh as this pains me, think I'll have to go for Mikey, going by from what little I saw. Otherplayers that stood out for me were LD3, Bert and Shingler.
Koke Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 From what I saw, Nathan is my pick - we did look worse without him in the side, especially when attacking.
General Smuts Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Not easy to pick from contenders such as Bert, Shingles, Sparky, LD3, Cat Burger, C-Man, Cobbo, Mikey - all did well but my vote goes to Tommeh who raped us, and everytime i looked up in the 1 rested game we got you seemed to bag or be causing the defence trouble. Special mention goes to all of the green team who were fucking a, considering the lack of rests we had in those conditions, it showed in our inability to finish with weary legs. But we put in the performances every game and were unlucky not to do better. Chuffed with Bronze. Damo, Mark, C-Man, Cobbo, Sam/Michael and even Kilworth - Heroes in Green and White.
lcfc_jme Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Mikey was easily MVP, heroic performances and major potential. Big fan of the little Hills. Special mentions otherwise go to Sparky and Cat Burger, two players I'd love to have in any team I play for. Brilliant.
Ashley Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Sparky for me. Others stand out, Bert, Shingler, Cat B, JME. I was also impressed with Nathko.
