morris1234 Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Yeah that moment was funny, but you (or I) can't help think alot of things such as that are staged - I think alot of people have got abit bored of Top Gear for that reason. I still find things like that funny though. yeah a lot of it is staged but most of the time like you said they are still funny, jc's one liners are getting a bit too random and on the spot and perhaps not funny and like somebody else mentioned hammonds weird eye raise thing he does a lot and when they are always on about james being old nd boring, we get it ! still we get to see some nice cars we can only dream of having and get to laugh at them while they spending huge amounts of money doing stupidly funny things!
Stuliasz Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 It's one of the few things left on TV that's worth looking forward to watching each week. Some good stuff in there tonight and thought Michael McIntyre was really good. Never really seen any of his stuff, is his show (after casualty on Saturdays) worth a watch?
AjcW Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 tonight has been very funny. Especially the french sponsorship on james mays car door that translated as Cock Yoghurt.
Samilktray Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 Poor again. Im gonna keep watching, at least 1 episode will be a good un I reckon.

License payers money
Matt Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 Quite good tonight I thought, Not crying with laughter funny but funny, Felt they didn't try to hard to be funny tonight, which is good. I think recently they have just been trying to hard.
General Smuts Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Yes Nissan 300z. Its grandchild the 370z should be on next week. Was sposed to be this week but they waited to film something else. Clarkson will be driving it and he hates Nissan so that should be a great review

Clarkson will be driving it and he hates Nissan so that should be a great review You need to give a few of these out to 'normal' people (like me!! ) so the general public can see them out and about more. Gizz'us one?! I'd be much, much nicer about it than Clarkson too.
foxchic Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Well according to today's Clarkson page in the Sun THE STIG IS GOING TO BE REVEALED."..But all that will change tomorrow night when the Stig barges into the studio and in an atmosphere that you could cut with a knife removes his helmet". I love Top Gear. The guys are so funny

Having been driven in one round the track- they are the shit! All 4 wheels left the floor at the same moment my underpants filled.
The Birch Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Not watched much of this series, been trying to catching up on iplayer. have only watched the first 2 so far but I think both were good, still funny.
Ultra Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 Clarkson calls Prime Minister a c**t That's a very fine glass house you've got there, Jezza..
Basingstoke Fox Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 Did not like the 1st episode and I have loved Top Gear ever since the new one was launched. Since the first episode though I have enjoyed them all very much!
Jay Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 Clarkson calls Prime Minister a c**tThat's a very fine glass house you've got there, Jezza.. Without wanting to head down the route of another political thread I would suggest that at least 60% if not much much more of the British population think exactly the same about Gordon Brown regardless of who said it
Jimmy Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 Without wanting to head down the route of another political thread I would suggest that at least 60% if not much much more of the British population think exactly the same about Gordon Brown regardless of who said it more to the point it was said during a break in filming in a joke to the live audience and was never meant to be broadcast
Ultra Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 more to the point it was said during a break in filming in a joke to the live audience and was never meant to be broadcast So that makes it all right, does it?
Ultra Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 Without wanting to head down the route of another political thread I would suggest that at least 60% if not much much more of the British population think exactly the same about Gordon Brown regardless of who said it A lot of folk would think far worse about Clarkson, who once again reveals himself as a crude, boorish bully. I suppose you think he's above politics too?
Matt Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 Fair play to Clarkson tbh, He was just saying what alot of people think really, and i'm sure many other people have slagged Gordon Brown off in probably more offensive ways but because they are not celebrities it doesn't matter.
Jimmy Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 So that makes it all right, does it? yes, this is a case of people trying to kick the BBC again and cause more controversy, it was a joke intended for the live audience only, no different to pretty much any Frankie Boyle gag on Mock The Week, but it seems he's allowed and Clarkson isn't
Matt Posted 26 July 2009 Posted 26 July 2009 yes, this is a case of people trying to kick the BBC again and cause more controversy, it was a joke intended for the live audience only, no different to pretty much any Frankie Boyle gag on Mock The Week, but it seems he's allowed and Clarkson isn't He's Scottish if anything was said against him, or he was judged it'd be racist.
