Narborough_fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Woking town? Town?? Idiot. http://www.wokingtownfc.co.uk/
Matt Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Top Gear love Leicester! We're always getting a mention. Matt Smith (Doctor Who - not the goon of ITV) is on tonight, who was a youth academy player at Leicester and Forest, and someone cheered when he said Leicester, Jeremy thought he was funny but saying 'The Leicester fan is here' or something along those lines, Sorry Jezza think you got us mixed up with the club down the M69 - Cov.
Saxondale Posted 27 February 2012 Posted 27 February 2012 With two mentions this series, I think that makes us the most mentioned football team on Top Gear! :city: On a side note, how cool is Toni Gardemeister?! What a legend.
StanSP Posted 27 February 2012 Posted 27 February 2012 Any news on the Juventus vs Leicester friendly ?
HEGGSY Posted 27 February 2012 Posted 27 February 2012 Any news on the Juventus vs Leicester friendly ? We won 6-1, Nedved scored for them and Hammond, Hayles and De Vries all got two each.
Amin Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 The last episode of this current Top Gear series (March 11th) is going to have both Slash and Kimi Raikkonen driving the reasonably priced car. Can't wait! http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2012/11/top-gear.html
Fox92 Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Clarkson suspended and Top Gear will not be broadcast on Sunday. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/statements/jeremy-clarkson-top-gear?ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbc_press_office&ns_source=twitter&ns_linkname=corporate http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31824040?ocid=socialflow_twitter

It will be our loss if Top Gear goes to another channel, it must make a fortune for the BBC.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 'A fracas with a Producer'. If he can get away with the N word he can get away with anything, be shocked if he wasn't reinstated.
Sir Fynwy Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The show has been awful for the last 10 years at least, can't understand how it hasn't been axed before.
yorkie1999 Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Only thing that's any good on the bbc anymore. If it was pay per view instead of pay per peado, it wouldn't last a week.
Fox92 Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The show has been awful for the last 10 years at least, can't understand how it hasn't been axed before. I'm not a massive massive car fan but I still find it entertaining. Some of their stuff is funny.
Webbo Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The show has been awful for the last 10 years at least, can't understand how it hasn't been axed before. Because it make a fortune for the BBC. I get the impression that the presenters are fed up with it too but the money's too good to turn down.
ousefox Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The only decent episodes are the ones where they're travelling. That's all too scripted anyway too. Clarkson's a knob and Hammond just seems a bit weird to me. May is the only one I quite like.

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Isn't it still the biggest programme on earth in terms of worldwide viewing figures? That's why it's still going and why the BBC have let Clarkson get away with so much, if they didn't another channel would snap it up in a heartbeat.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 What a bunch of shit (not the show, I love it no matter how scripted and broad it is), what was this "fracas"? Also Gary Lineker was going to be the star in the car this Sunday. Damn it. Fire the producer.
MooseBreath Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The adventure features are great. Much better than 90% of the dross you get on TV these days. I enjoy the comedy camaraderie between the three of them as well. Proper blokes with mates stuff, can understand why guardian readers don't like it because they're the type of people who have no mates and so don't really get it. Big loss if it goes.
Samilktray Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The episode the other week with the bit about Peugeot drivers was tremendous. Aslong as they can do something as funny as that every once in a while, ill still watch it.
Merging Cultures Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The Peugeot episode was awful! After the second joke it was too much. I do really enjoy the show, but it probably could do with a refresh.

And have caravans.

Yep those scripted adventure shows really are great, just a pity some believe it all to be real, but they're Daily Mail/Telegraph readers so don't really get it.
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Love Top Gear, love the presenters. The BBC Producer can suck my camel toe.
Strokes Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 I thought this series was back to its very best, with all the cutting edge technology out there it seemed to rejuvenate them. May is brilliant and Clarkeson is a clown but I wouldn't miss Hammond tbh.
