dandannieldanok Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Anyone seen Swansea's goal from last night? Savage horrendously outpaced !
StanSP Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Anyone seen Swansea's goal from last night? Savage horrendously outpaced ! Savage was already in the box and the guy running on to it is about level with the player who actually plays him the ball
Corky Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Great weekend for us, winning and the three sides above us losing. Hope Preston nick a win against Newcastle
whitlock Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Anyone know the injury mattock picked up? Heard he was stretched off? Hopefully its only something minor as cruciate knee ligaments or something.
Matt Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 C'mon Preston, Wouldn't mind a draw either tbh, Keep the geordies in touching distance though!
StanSP Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Newcastle beat Preston 1-0, meaning they go top by 2 points, and 6 points above us. They play Swansea on Saturday I think. If we win on Saturday, I wouldn't mind Newcastle winning that one as it means we pull away from another team in play-off positions.

RedHux Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Looks like we'll have a proper left back when we play you lot. First time we'll have an actual left back this season.. Shorey

CosbehFox Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Shorey's a strange un. He has sproadic seasons, one good, one shit. N'Guessan will eat him for Brunch.
CosbehFox Posted 25 November 2009 Posted 25 November 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/8378312.stm What an appalling signing, maybe the fact he's over 6ft 6 and has a long throw-in might make him a decent Conference footballer but his lack of speed and general skill means he certainly isn't a Championship player.
lildave3 Posted 25 November 2009 Posted 25 November 2009 Exodus! What a beastly person and name. Filbertway and JME will love this guy.

Or the fact that "Exodus" is his first name. What a name.

That's what happens when you appoint a non-league manager, he'll buy what he knows. Peterborough are as good as down if he sees that tactic working. To be fair, he deserves a chance to play at this level purely because of his name though...
Matt Posted 28 November 2009 Posted 28 November 2009 How pissed off would you be if you were a Barnsley fan? Winning 4-1 away against Plymouth, Match abandoned due to waterlogged pitch on 58 minutes. Not only would you be pissed off because you were winning 4-1 away from home and most likely with the time left would have gone on to win the game, but to travel that far get 58 minutes through the game and get it abandoned.
dandannieldanok Posted 28 November 2009 Posted 28 November 2009 Long way to go but it looks like we know who the automatically promoted teams will be.

That's got to hurt. Still, 4-1 to the reds. Billy pulls another tactical master class in the second half. Hopefully next week will be an open flowing game but with Pearson and billy in charge I doubt it.
StanSP Posted 28 November 2009 Posted 28 November 2009 Brunt scored at Hillsborough... A football player scoring a goal? Well I never.
Fox92 Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 A football player scoring a goal?Well I never. Brunt gets booed by the Wednesday fans, they hate him at college and he goes and scores there. Thats all. No point for the sarcastic remarks.

Brunt was the only player on the pitch who got applauded by our fans at Hillsborough yesterday. There was not one boo from anywhere in the ground.
