AjcW Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 QPR 1-0 Watford. Cracking finish from agyamang. Really fast tempo decent game this. Both teams playing a passing attractive game.
Edmund Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Currently watching Watford Vs QPR (0-1). How come their playing on a Monday night considering they both just played on Saturday and everyone else is playing tomorrow night?

Got moved from Tuesday as champs league games are playing live tuesday and wednesday. Would of made more sense to give this to the bbc to show on a tuesday or wednesday really.

lildave3 Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 You would have thought so considering they only played on Saturday. They could have refused if they felt they wouldn't be able to play.
AjcW Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 1-1 at half time. lloyd doyley scoring his first ever senior goal in ten years as a pro with a super diving header to equalise for watford. Really enjoyed that first half.
AjcW Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Fantastic finish Don Cowie 2-1 Watford now. More super play from tom cleverly
Guest Bilo Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Scunthorpe 1-0 Coventry.Coventry now 20th in the table. League One beckons. At least one of my pre-season predictions wasn't spectacularly wrong.
AjcW Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Cleverly strolling in to make it 3-1 What a player. MOTM today easy.
MC Prussian Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Shame we couldn't hold onto Tom. The guy makes watching football so much more enjoyable. 'Tis like Waghorn up front - Cleverley would form a formidable one-two touch combo with Martyn.
StanSP Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Think that was an alright result for us. WOuld have preferred a draw but I guess we can only do what we can by winning tomorrow! Cleverly is one of the best mids in this league I think.
Corky Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Mackay is doing a very good job at Watford. Don't know what's happened to Qpr, three defeats in four.
StanSP Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Mackay is doing a very good job at Watford.Don't know what's happened to Qpr, three defeats in four. We fucked them up
AjcW Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Don't know what's happened to Qpr, three defeats in four. They play very very pretty football and have individually gifted players. In bold lies the issue. Taarabt, simpson, watson: All on loan. Ive always said that a team full of loan players can be good for a period of time but unless you can change the habits they have inherited from their parent club then your going to have issues. Taarabt is brilliant, until it comes to needing to find a pass, at which point he sees only himself, the goal and a goalkeeper on the pitch, very very greedy player. Simpson is pacey and skilful but when he needs to find a cross or a shot he freezes. Watson is too used to playing in a direct route one Palace side to have the ability to keep up with the pace and trickery of Q.P.R's tactics. And then we come to the gaffer magilton who appears to be losing the fans, what I noticed when he was in charge at ipswich and what ive seen so far at the R's, when it comes to making substitutions he panics and tends to make a seemingly clueless swap. I worry about Q.P.R really, they need to build a squad of players that they can call their own and have gel together for a couple of seasons or they are just going to find themselves a permanent fixture in the championship with two impatient rich owners changing the manager every six months.
Super_horns Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Good win for us again last night (doing fine at the Vic - 4 wins in a row) and Lloyd scoring his first in nearly 400 games with the icing on the win! Good job we've got 30 points just incase we do enter administration - ofcourse if that happened our loan players like Tom C would leave..

I highly doubt that you're contributing anything towards his wages so can't see you losing him this season.
purpleronnie Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Holloway proving what a good manager he is.
Edmund Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Holloway proving what a good manager he is. At small clubs
davieG Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Cov 0 - 2 Newcastle - The Geordies move 7 points clear of WBA and Cov are hovering 1 point above the relegation spots Barnsley 1 - 1 S****horpe
Fox92 Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 At small clubs Exactly. I knew he'd do well at Blackpool, the club is about the same size of Plymouth now, sounds horrible I know.
RedHux Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 After our dismal draw at Sheff United some fans on our forums are going mental at Davies' team selection. Just thought it might amuse given the knee jerks here after Saturday.
Corky Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Cov are hovering 1 point above the relegation spots That has brightened me up
Super_horns Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 BBC are introducing some sort of "regional" programme to go along with their main Championship coverage as ITV aired in the 90s. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/broadcasting/n...tball-show.html

I remember central football night on ITV with Stan the man. Great programme. The Beeb are pulling all the right strings at the moment.
