Shane Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Could this be possible? Waghorn & Fryatt upfront? No disrespect to howard, but i think this combination could work. Thoughts?
flanimal Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Unless the rest of the Leicester line-up pass to feet instead of hoofing long balls everywhere, then no.
Collymore Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Howard is one of the most important players we have. We've been lucky that he's not very injury prone otherwise we'd miss him lots.

dogadug Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Howard is one of the most important players we have. We've been lucky that he's not very injury prone otherwise we'd miss him lots. Nice idea, but NP is sticking with Fryatt and Howard
flanimal Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 I think in terms of Foxestalk, Shane could be the new Flanimal.
Shane Posted 18 August 2009 Author Posted 18 August 2009 It was just a suggestion. Now your all hating me because of Armand Traore. *sulks*

Edmund Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 you really do come up with some brain dead ideas...At least you have stopped harping on about us signing Armand Traore.... I think Shanes had the last laugh here.
foxoffderby Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Wasent a Howard fan hold my hands up as a Derby hater. But I've turned he is a very important member of a our first team and the system we play.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Howard is one of the most important players we have. We've been lucky that he's not very injury prone otherwise we'd miss him lots. <_< What a **** you are! Had to go and say that didn't you. If we struggle now we should all never forgive you for that.
StanSP Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 It' d be quite funny if he was the same guy that said, before one of the matches late into last season, that we had gone that far without getting a red card. And then I think Hobbs went and got one that next match.

And then I think Hobbs went and got one that next match. Wouldnt put it past him! He probably said we would go the rest of last season unbeaten too!
JoeyB Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 to be fair i thought they played well together. but i still think we need a target man to hold up the ball!
Jimmy Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 they did seem to work well together, but both now injured, although Fryatt at least managed to complete the game
Koke Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 It' d be quite funny if he was the same guy that said, before one of the matches late into last season, that we had gone that far without getting a red card. And then I think Hobbs went and got one that next match. I remember that. And I also remember when I said that King had played every single minute of every single game in the season and then the next day he was called up for Wales and he missed Posh away.
leicesterfox86 Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 to be fair i thought they played well together. but i still think we need a target man to hold up the ball! Yep, they can play together occasionally but for the long-term - we need Howard in there. No doubt about that. Like someone mentioned, he is a very important player for us.

And then I think Hobbs went and got one that next match. Ha,ha, did anyone read the swansea fan on here saying that if we got a penalty in the opening game that we were certain to score because De Vries was hopeless at saving them and hadn't saved one before. I knew from that moment that he was bound to save one of our penalties!!
Matt Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Anyone see Fryatt's dive last night, terrible attempt
Budweiser Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Anyone see Fryatt's dive last night, terrible attempt What was he playing at I couldn't believe City fans genuinly appealed.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 This was right in front of me! Pretty blatant really, but that ref was likely to give anything so i wouldnt have been surprised if he gave a pen! Ive noticed fryatt fall conspicuously in the box a couple of times, especially in some games last year.
fleckneymike Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 It was one of the worst dives I've ever witnessed. Almost as laughable as Utd fans crying handball all the time.
The Doctor Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 This was right in front of me! Pretty blatant really, but that ref was likely to give anything so i wouldnt have been surprised if he gave a pen! Ive noticed fryatt fall conspicuously in the box a couple of times, especially in some games last year. gave two soft ones last year one for us, one for hartlepool in our game at victoria road. fryatt was being cunning, remembered the refs previous performance and was trying to take advantage. Not pleased though with his in-box tumbles , would be if i hadn't taken every chance to abuse cristiano ronaldo for doing the same or didn't mind being labeled a hypocrite
Vlad The Impaler Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 Anyone got any ideas on when they'll be back?
