I suppose all the pre series comments about it being danii v simon this year mean that those two are going to be taking digs at each others acts. I was surprised at the comments after danyl's performance because I like simon thought it was brilliant. Theres obviously more going on behind the scenes with danyl than we know.

I didn't think it was that good... until he got the shoutier bit at the end, he was pretty poor and struggled really badly with it... the saving grace of course came in the form of him being able to revert to what he is best at, shouting high notes... correctly, granted, but that is pretty much all he can do. Not a fan of his at all.

I REALLY struggle to see why everyone thinks he's that good... sure he can dance around and entertain, but he's no great singer like people are making him out to be.

Same here, they are just trying to put him down because he's easily the best and they see him as a threat. He's simply easily the best singer on the show. Hardly any of them stand out though, it's easily the worst line up in recent years for a live show. Last year i really enjoyed watching Laura White, JLS, Diana Vickers, Alexandra Burke, Ruth Lorenzo and they were all good singers, Ruth and Laura the best 2.

I've got nowt against him but the uber confident persona he tries so very hard to portray is in stark contrast to the insecure man he really is. Sadly, the only way he can stay in the limelight and perform to large audiences is to pump himself full of God knows what to get him through. I actually feel quite sorry for him despite all of his millions.
