Corky Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 Can't see it being a rout, but I'm confident we'll get the points. 2-0.
Joe. Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 Nobody thinks we'll lose this one, which means we probably will. We should claim this one though, and I believe we will.
MikeyT Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 I think after two great performance away from home at Ipswich and Sheffield United (especially sheffield) we need to be up at that tempo again and if we are then i think a comfortable win for us. I'm going for 2-0 to City.
maddog Posted 20 August 2009 Author Posted 20 August 2009 We will all be very sheepish if we lose this one I'm loving the Barnsley optimism though. One said we will lose this one the question is by how many goals and how many more bookings I'm still sticking with 3-1 but we may get 4.
flanimal Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 Barnsley will take a pounding. 3-1 to Leicester. Barnsley will not cope with N'Guessan, but Hume will score a penalty.
Simo86 Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 'fans' will BOO if we dont win by 3 goals I don't think they will. Some fans are idiots but 3 points is 3 points at the end of the day
suffolk fox Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 this, unfortunately reminds me of the time we played Rotherham at home some seasons ago. We were expected to romp home to a good win we lost 1-0? I am praying history doesn't repeat itself? Hume will score for them though. Going on last season where we drew a lot of games at home I think 1-1 Hume for them Fryatt for us.
suffolk fox Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Just changed my opinion, Gallacher confirmed!!!!! We will win 2-1 Gallacher to score on his debut.
leicesterseddon Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Barnsley were shocking during their last match, should be looking to win this comfortably. Can't see them scoring past our back four.
phillcfc Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 We showed last season against some far poorer teams than Barnsley that without Howard we really struggled to score. Hope I'm wrong and we annihilate them, but I can't see it, particularly with a semi-fit Fryatt and a new striker lacking match practice. 1 - 1, Oakley and Hume scoring.
maddog Posted 21 August 2009 Author Posted 21 August 2009 Who voted lose I think if we do lose tomorrow there may be some boos in the crowd 8 points from 4 games will be fooking huge. Baring in mind i think in a previous thread most said they would be delighted with 8-9 points from the first 5 games, we would already have 8 from 4.
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do do-do-do-do-do-do We'll be on FIRE!!! 4-0
Bryn Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Comfortable victory. I don't see us being heavy winners much this season so I shall say 2-0.
Koke Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 They've signed Andy Gray, but not sure if he's in the squad for tomorrow. Him and Hume up front together could be a real nuisance. Still, I'm also going for a routine textbook 2-0 win.
darko2k7 Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 Leicester 3 ( Fryatt / Gallagher x2 ) Barnsley 1 ( Hume welcomee home gift )
jonah Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 being a leicester fan for many years im never 100% confident of anything, and usually whenever im close to it we end up ferking it up and losing, but i have a "good" feeling about this one, 3-1 to city gallagher with 2 wellens the other, hume to get a consolation for the tykes and fryatt to have a hissy fitting strop because weve found a new hero

Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 Win 3-0 We should be winning games like this (no disrespect intended) if we want to finish any higher than 'just surviving' We couldn't have had a much better start this season, and we are playing some superb stuff. I don't see why it should change today, the loss of Howard and Waghorn should be very well cushioned by Gallagher. However, it couldn't be an Ian prediction without the odd negative side. And that's that even though I think we will win today, I have a very, very bad feeling about this game. Just something niggling. If we win this game convincingly, we can look forward to life at least in the CCC next season.
Darkzzz_ Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 First game for me since arriving back from Malaysia around 2 hours a go. A 3-0 win would be very welcome.
Salieri Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 Fryatt to get a brace in an efficient, if unspectacular 2-0 victory.
